Always rinse and repeat.

Give him the same PR firm as the new Pope and this guy could be President #45.

2013-11-13 11:44:42 AM
He says he wants a new trial or to have his sentence reduced.

Which is it?  Were you wrongly convicted or just want to get out sooner?

POS.

I doubt they are allowed to wear hairpieces in jail. It is likely at his house or checked in.

Kicked out of office to make room for Rahm.

Rahm's mayor.  Blago was governor.  Plenty of farking room for both Rahm's 9 farking fingers and Blago's bald farking dome.

Dangerous, statistics show that hairpiece will only kill again.

It is imperative that it be kept away from Donald Trump's hair. When they get together, the non-stop talking and blithering insanity drive any on-lookers to suicide. And that's while they're just planning the murders.

Rahm needed to earn his chops before going for the governorship.  Ths is why we are stuck with an inaffective lump  that is Quinn.  Quinn is in office just to keep it occupied until Rahm has a long enough resume.

Sentenced how many years = number of years we will hear about his appeal process.

So he does not feel he should do the time for the crime?

I wonder how many times rectal trauma has ended up on his medical report.

Suck it Blago.

Rahm isn't going to run for governor.  The job sucks compared to being mayor of Chicago.

You can get a lot more done as mayor.

snocone: Give him the same PR firm as the new Pope and this guy could be President #45.

1 --The pope has the same PR firm as the previous pope - the catholic church.  He's just not a raging asshole so suddenly everyone thinks he's super cool.
2 --No.  Boybiatch would be crushed in a primary for assistant dogcatcher.  People in IL generally have more respect for previous Gov. George Ryan, who still deserves to be in prison and will never be elected to anything either.
3 --We will all have to suffer with this sad clown whenever he gets out being on some reality bullshiat show and saying stupid crap because attention whore.

Why should Blagojevich be in prison when Rahm Emmanuel isn't?

I laughed my ass off at how quickly the Illinois Tollway Authority took down the "Rod Blagojevich, Governor" signs from their I-Pass lanes when the shiat hit the fan.

if i were in jail, i would ask for both, because you ask for any relief you can get.  he's a POS for the crime.  he's not a POS for trying any defense/relief he can get.

it's criminal justice, not comparative justice.

Why doesn't he take this to the supreme court?  Given their prior rulings on corruption, I'm sure they'll find he was just exercising his free speech rights.

Not going to happen.  Chicago mayors have had no more success running for gubernatorial office than NYC mayors have.  They are both effectively dead-end jobs.  Whether the voters of the city like him or hate him, the suburbanites and down-staters never want a Chicago mayor for anything state-wide.

Only two Chicago mayors have moved on to even arguably theoretically higher offices (but far lower in both prestige and authority), and each had only ascended to the mayoralty because of the death of the elected incumbent:

    •   Michael Bilandic - horribly inept as mayor after Old Man Daley died; went on to be a reasonably competent Chief Justice of the state supreme court.
    •   David Orr - acting mayor for a few days after Harold Washington died; went on to be the well-regarded Cook County Clerk ever since then.

Not to mention that being Duh Mare is a higher office than being governor.  Duh Mare Daleys never wanted to be governor.
Springfield is controlled by other pols, especially Mike Madigan. Chicago is controlled by duh mare.

Keep the hairpiece in. I don't want anyone catching Rod Blagojevich's hairpiece. It's probably already spread around the general prison population.

2013-11-13 06:31:10 PM
Sorry, Rod.  You're in for the full 14.  See, unlike Texas, where a filthy sleazoid like Tom DeLay can buy his way out of a conviction, to the resounding cheers of Real Murcan Texans, here in Illinois, liberals are royally pissed that you turned out to be such a sleazebag, and we all want you locked in prison for the full 14.

2013-11-13 07:17:59 PM
Hello.

I'm William Shatner's hairpiece.

And I want to speak to you about a grave injustice done to Rod Blagovedich's toupee.

Rod Blagovedich's toupee committed no crime but was arrested as an accessory.

Now, I ask you? Is hair an accessory? Not to most normal Amercans with or without male pattern baldness. And is male pattern baldness a crime?
Well, maybe in California and Utah.

But really Rod Blagovedich's toupee only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time and looking like a bicycle helmet made of recycled rubber tires. But Rod Blagovedich's toupee  went to jail all the same and now has a cushy job in the kitchen but sadly, is forced to wear a hairnet at all times and a big sale tag that says $$$ on one side and "Property of Minnie Pearl" on the other.

Please contribute generously to the Let the Freak Flag Fly Inc. Together we can get Rod Blagovedich's toupee out of the hair net and set those locks of immovable polymer free or at leastt as free as helmet hair can be.

I believe that Rod Blagovedich's toupee has does enough time. He should not languish in prison for crimes he did not commit.

Remember that name: Let the Freak Flag Fly Inc. because it's also our toll-free number 1-888-FREAK-FLAG. Call and pledge as much as you can to free the impenitrable locks of Rod Blagovedich.

Good night and God bless.

They should let that poor thing out. Return it to its native habitat and let it roam free.
