Well, it is a Pope's job to flog the bishop when needed, so it makes sense that he should be good at it.

You're a fool and/or a troll.

The anecdotal problem I see is that some priests really do not care for Jesuits and have refused to come along with Francis. My parish features a hard liner dogmatist who has insisted on putting up messages on the board such as "GODS PLAN: MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN" and putting up crosses, each one representing 1 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. It's the precise opposite of what Francis has said the church needs. We don't go to that church any more.

Enough Cardinals did not seem to care that he was a Jesuit. If he had actually achieved something, say handing other those pedophile priests in the Vatican you would have focused on that. The fact you can't really helps to prove the point that his failure to act is indefensible.

You are aware Pope Francis is against abortion as well. He just wants priests to bang on less about it so as not to drive more people like you away.

He has the authority to get things done but he has done nothing but soundbites and photo ops. I suspect the real reason a Jesuit was voted pope was to improve the Church's image they after all are probably the most worldly and aware of public relations.

What popery might look like.

I like this pope and everything that he has been doing. He is focusing more on Jesus' message of love and respect for all mankind rather than the policies of the church of the past 50 years. He is fixing the church one small step at a time.

That being said I don't think that spirituality and beliefs should be institutionalized.
Those are things one should discover on their own.

Not on Pedophilia and poverty it doesn't. Also those bankers were damaging the church.

So according to you the only action he has taken is to make the church more stable and less financially corrupt. Just goes to show he can take action quickly, he just refuses to do so with pedophile priests.

Still all talk and no action despite showing can take action to protect the church's financial well being but not Children.

It's good for him/The Church that people generally like the new pope, but the Catholic Church is still a shiatty, broken, backwards, child-raping (and yet anti-consensual-sex) entity. Being the first pope in at least several decades (possibly centuries... possibly ever?) who isn't an outright foul human being is a step in the right direction, but the organization has hundreds of thousands of miles to go before it would be caught up with the rest of humanity. If it's even possible (or in their interest or among their overall goals) for them to catch up, it'll take a very long time and/or require dramatic, institution-changing action, not just a pope who doesn't deserve to be kicked in the balls daily.

Internet porn is like blogs, 99% of it is utter trash. Of the 1% that isn't total crap, 99% of that 1% is just passable. Of course that 1% of the 1% that is really good porn is still hours worth uploaded every day. And hey, some days you're just in the mood for some fetish porn, something trashy or whatever. The good news is that it's out there. The questions are 1: can you find it, and 2: is it legal in your country/area.

Personally, I like the interracial, gay porn that Adolf Hitler made prior to that political stuff he got involved with. Watching Adolf getting plowed by some massively hung black guy just does it for me.

My friend, don't bother fighting. Haters gonna hate. They can't be reasoned with. These are the same guys that hate on Mother Teresa whom 99.9% of the world acknowledges was a pretty awesome human being. They've passed the veil of reasoned debate and live in an emotional world where simply believing something differently than they do marks you as an evil being. It's like trying to argue with Westboro Baptist--all it does is feed their hatred.

What? Do you have a cite for that? Or are you referring to his pardoning the previous Pope from being forced to testify? Which doesn't mean that he couldn't be prosecuted, but there's no farking way the Pope (any Pope) is ever going to face criminal charges in the US. I'm pretty sure like 25% of the US is still Catholic. It's def. still the largest Christian denomination in the US.

I'm not saying he shouldn't, I supported efforts in the UK to make Pope Benedict accountable (by support I mean I went 'yay, hope that works, it won't...but I hope!'). Things would have to change a whole lot more. Basically you can think of the Pope as akin to a head of state. And generally you only see those folks go on trial when they've been deposed.

It's as likely to happen as the US allowing a US President to face trial in a foreign nation. Here...maybe. Elsewhere, we've made it clear as national policy we won't.
