totally is.  he's destroying the country personally with his masterful 25 step plan to name himself dictator for life.

on the days that he's not an empty suit no-nothing puppet.

Do you mean to tell me that President Obama's critics might not be entirely honest?

Next you're going to tell me that he's not a gay-married, communist, anti-white tyrant.

Obama has held up the Keystone XL pipeline, which is preventing oil companies from exporting oil out of the US.  In the meantime those poor oil companies have to pay federal tax on all this oil, because it's being consumed by Americans.

So you can see how production has nothing to do with how Obama is keeping the oil companies down.  The oil is fungible.  It wants to be free.  But Obama hates freedom.  Especially for American oil.  That we got from Canada.  And refined in the US.  Leaving giant slag heaps behind to poison poor Americans.

Despite the JOB CRUSHING REGULATIONS and RADICAL LIBERAL LEFTIST ENVIRONMENTAL AGENDA, not to mention the OUTRIGHT HOSTILITY TOWARDS ENERGY COMPANIES that the Obama Administration has shown, we have accomplished this. Truly, the Oil companies need to get a Congressional Medal Of Freedom. Praise ExxonMobil!

we have NO CLUE what else is out there.
This wikipedia article excludes the Paris Basin which is massive and undeveloped.
Sure, the French are against drilling TODAY, but 10-20 years if things got expensive, who knows.

This means that oil is going to be super-cheap now.

My understanding of the economics surrounding oil speculation, exploration, production, transportation, refining, fuel distribution, and retail sales can fit on a bumper sticker... AND I VOTE!

Prices go up, Obama's fault.  (and he rigged them for alternative energy support in the public.)

Prices go down, Obama fault. (and he rigged them to get elected, now, he's trying to usurp the throne for an unconstitutional 3rd term.)

Thanks a lot, Fartcorndog Ohumner.

I loved seeing those stickers especially when the economy tanked in 2008 and gas prices dropped along with it.

Imagine just how much more oil the US could produce if the Administration would allow new drilling offshore or on public lands.

Amazing what private enterprise can do on private land.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on this for the last few years and I'm not surprised that we've reached this point.

When we weren't looking, somehow we achieved energy independence.

And for what it's worth, I like the idea of us selling our oil outside of the country as opposed to being a net importer and being beholden to the ME suppliers.

Actually, you really can't have oil exports and a plan to do something about climate change in the same gesture.

But then again, Big Oil is the biggest culprit in successfully keeping climate change awareness akin to "junk science."

Remember that next time you scoff at Sarah Palin.

I don't have to imagine that because we are allowing new drilling offshore and on public lands.

Does anybody here realize that they're cheering about the fracking revolution? Somehow the article avoided the word.

2013-11-12 04:19:13 PM
A Teahadist I know refuses to believe this because Obama drove up the gas prices.  Now that gas prices are down, after blaming Obama for the high prices, he's back on the "the President doesn't control gas prices" bandwagon.

Also, he continues to say that Obama won't allow drilling in this country and I've been pointing out articles like this one that say we're drilling more now than we have in decades.  His response?  "But not on FEDERAL lands!"

Farking unbelievable.

I hope they're good.

Anyone got some info?

"Oil and coal? Of course, its a fungible commodity and they don't flag, you know, the molecules, where it's going and where it's not. But in the sense of Congress today, they know that there are very, very hungry domestic markets that need oil first"

This now means America is oil independent, energy independent, and will lead the world once again.  Therefore we need to keep drilling, keep consuming, and forget green and conservationist models of sustainability.  Besides, they're very close to perfecting clathrate mining, which will again put America ahead of the world and make us ever richer.

Right?
