Whatever a man's past, if he has turned away from it and has sought to strike a new path for himself, I am unwilling to smear him with it, no matter how unsavory it may be. The entire basis of forgiveness lies in this.

A man surrounded all his life by violence and trouble who steps in to prevent violence is a hero.

This guy took the mafia stereotype a little too seriously.

I guess we get to see if he's still connected if the stabber ends up falling down an elevator shaft with 5 knives in his back, his cock cut off and shoved down his throat and 6 .22 cal rounds in the back of the head with a suicide note stapled to his chest while his hands are tied behind is back.

Tada!

Cops surprised that they could not charge him with being stabbed.

Don't want to be too cynical - but the actual article states "says he was stabbed in the stomach while trying to break up a fight outside a Long Island drugstore."  This is what he told the hospital and then refused to cooperate with the cops, who might have been able to verify the story.

Yeah. I was, like, at the CVS store buying CVSes and these two mokes start in to fightin'. So's I goes over dere and says "You mokes. Stop yer fightin'. Dis here is a CVS place. No fightin' allowed."

And the moke with the knife gives me the shiv to the gut. I don' gotta take dat. It's in the Constitution. So's a give the moke a little push back and he falls on to a loaded shotgun what blows off both his kneecaps. Oh, he's real sorry now. He's askin' fer mercy, mister tough moke wit' a knife. But just when I am about to forgive him; 'cause I am all about the forgiving, a cement truck backs over him four times. I guess that after you get crushed by cement truck four times, you look like cement 'cause the guys in da truck jump out, scoop every bit o' him up and dump him in to the back of the cement truck. They then transport him to an undisclosed location where he becomes part of a foundation maybe.

The other moke that was fighting with the first one, took a shovel to the back of the skull. Purely his choice, I am told. He then climbed in to a trunk of a Town Car under his own power and completely of his own chosing and slammed the trunk lid shut. I believe that will be the last that anyone will see of him. Or else.

I then contacted my lawyers and upon their advice, I went to the hospital.

So, the properties he got from his years of illegal activity is OK?  Nice to know that crime does indeed pay.

Good idea not to talk to the police. Besides he can take care of his own justice.

He has legitimate businesses too. The government can't take your stuff unless they can prove it is from a crime. I am sure they have done their best to take lock him up and take his property.

I read about a mob run funeral home and crematorium in New Jersey where the clients weren't dead going in and the cremations were done one body part at a time usually starting with the genitalia. Since Gotti runs a plumbing supply business he has a legitimate reason for all the blowtorches and vices he has. Somebody's going to find out how useful those pipe vices are on body parts.

Better re-check those forfeiture laws, Jethro.

You're right. I forgot about that. The police can't take your stuff unless they are pretty sure it is from a crime.

"He wasn't very cooperative," one investigator said.

Seems like he has something to hide, if it was just a fight then why give the police a hard time. He might have gotten what he deserved in that situation.

"Gotti has said he's been on the straight and narrow since he quit the mob in 1999"

For any man that has a family, getting out of something like that is obviously in their best interests and I can respect that. But I don't believe he just up and quit the mob, not without some influence still being enforced.

Hey now, he was just try to help. Anyone know if he's in charge now or has the Gambino's been disbanded?

I just watched Mean Streets last week and it was awesome. I hadn't seen it in 30 years or so but damn what a great film. Set and filmed in Little Italy it has the perfect feel for that type of movie. If you haven't seen it it's worth the time.

The note will claim his distraught over hurting such a stand up fine citizen as John Gotti Jr., which JG Jr will happen to be out of town when the man went missing.
