Regardless of the truth or falsity of the claims made, I think it's a generally accepted rule of thumb that, if you're carrying around a rifle and you have no good reason for doing so, you're probably a dildo.

Buzzfeed does not even rise to the prestigious title of "sucky blog," let alone anything that resembles an actual source of reliable information. Even something that could have been an honest-to-goodness article has been bastardized into a "Top X List" format of short, disjointed paragraphs broken up by unnecessary pictures lifted from other sources.

How anyone can take this information seriously is truly beyond me.

Anyway - to me this story isn't even about the nuts and bolts of the "gun" debate. We've all discussed that boring horse shiat a million times over here. This is really a fascinating profile of some of the broken personalities our increasingly broken culture is spawning. That guns are involved in this particular story is a side issue, to me.

There was a pre-planned photo-op by an Pro-Gun group going on

So because the gun nuts pre-planned "crashing" the meeting of the Moms for gun sense and took a picture of themselves behind an American flag that not only makes it okay but it makes the Mom group fact twisting liars?

Really subby, that's what your going with?

So let me get this straight....

According to the Open Carry group, if they weren't there, then those mom's would've been beaten, raped, and robbed? Geeze, pretty rough spot those moms were meeting in....

Or maybe, just maybe, the gun nuts were being a tad bit hyperbolic as usual.

But I'm curious - it's all well and good to mock these people, but - what made them the way they are? What combination of life experiences takes a man to the place in life where he congregates, armed, in a parking lot with a couple dozen armed men, to deliver a show of force to some little old ladies with pamphlets who lost their kids?
How does a man get to that place in life? What fear-driven pathology takes him there? Who did it to him, or did he do it to himself?
Fascinating case study.

They offered to pay for the venue, I'd take them up on the offer and find the single most expensive place to hold a debate on the most expensive day of the year. A Football stadium maybe? On Christmas?

Fixed.

Still wrong, since the "photo-op" was a bunch of armed protesters doing exactly what people said they were doing, but the photo was from an unflattering angle so it's completely wrong and Sarah Palin is now President.
