I think Vimeo has cornered the market on allowing people to produce good videos before farking them up with goofy dubsteb mixes.

Agreed. It's both powerful and delicate.

That's one of my favorite passages from any book.  it's too bad some dickhead thought i needed some rap bullshiat on top of it.

This is one of the great passages of Western Lit. I get shivers everytime I read it.

I know you don't care, but just in case, if you're talking about the music background in the video it is definitely not "some rap bullshiat". it is "smokes quantity" from the beautiful Boards of Canada album "Music has the right to Children".

Ya really interesting, Mark has been diagnosed schizophrenic as well as his mother. Heard him talk a year or so ago on the radio, fascinating family. Its amazing what they accomplished given their issues.

Great book. Not so great movie.

Thought the movie was fine. What do you think was wrong with it?

To me it was a typical good 70s film with charm and atmosphere rather than annoying fast edits...catch phrases and needless efx as is norm today.

...my 2cents

Stop what?  Nothing will get me to stop hating dipshiats who ruing otherwise good videos by putting music over them, particularly shiatty music like your candian "I'm so cool because I have hear of this band" band.

Slaughterhouse Five is a very good movie that is available on Netflix.  One of my favorite all time movies.

I'm guessing you have never heard of the band because that album came out 15 years ago. It was a fairly solid entry to the ambient/trance-hop genre. It was also very common to combine ambient music with video of this nature.

So you can not like it all you want, no biggie. But if you insist on calling it rap, and suggest that it's obscure, you're just willfully flaunting your ignorance.
