Putting the "box" in "penalty box"?

Stay classy, Buckeyes.

Marc Crawford would be proud, anyway.... the losing team erupts into a brawl because the winning team "disrespected" them. OK.

I would like very much to have intercourse with a female hockey player.  Just the once, though.

So, how do DQ's work if they are given after the game in the NCAA?

Do they basically then function like 1 game suspensions for the next game?

Bemidji St.'s school mascot is the Beaver.

The front of the women's hockey media guide has a picture of a player with the title "Beaver Nation."

That is all.

I would imagine she would also bring a sense of confidence and adventure to the boudoir, along with the athleticism to see it through.

It's the refs' responsibility for keeping both teams on their bench until the players on the ice at the end of the game have separated. So they are the root cause of it going from a couple of players pushing and shoving to 30+ players in a general melee.

Allowing (here) the visiting team to swarm the ice when there's a shoving match going on between two players is just asking for trouble.

I'll go ahead and guess that the refs were distracted by the shoving match and weren't quick enough to realize they needed to just leave it to the linesmen and turn their attention to keeping the players on the bench.

And women's hockey fights are vicious. Men are a straight-forward "I'm going to punch your face". Women, on the other hand, tend to opt for "I'm going to gouge your eyes out".

Game DQ's in NCAA automatically carry a progressive suspension regardless of when they happen (1st DQ is 1 game, 2nd DQ is 2, etc. - might be a limit where you're done for the year, can't remember). Game misconducts do not carry an automatic suspension. Fighting carries an automatic Game DQ in NCAA.

Pardon Me Sultan: I'll go ahead and guess that the refs were distracted by the shoving match...

The initial penalty was a 2-5-10 for instigating, face masking, and a DQ. That sounds a little worse than just a shoving match.

You do see some weird penalties in women's hockey you don't see in men's. Only time I've ever seen a player get 5 minutes and a DQ for "kicking" was in a women's game. She wound up too, was not accidental.

So since this happened AFTER the game, it's the next game they miss, right?

What if the fight had happened with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd? Would it only be that game they were suspended for (let's assume first offense).

The suspension is always for subsequent games. Hence the use of "suspension" rather than "ejection" (though they are ejected from the current game as well).

And there is where I was confused.

Thanks!
