Somewhere out there is an alternate reality where Republicans are thoughtful and considerate.  I envy everyone that lives there.

I think this might be the totally not-gayest thing this totally not-gay Senator has ever done.

"It's a cautionary tale for any advocacy journalists. But that's why putting your worldview on the table and having your editors and others around you know up front where you're coming from is essential. They can then openly challenge your biases and make sure you aren't looking for proof where none exists. I think they were all trapped by the pretense that Lara Logan is an objective beat journalist. Had they properly categorized her as an aggressive military hawk who only one month after the event was already saying that the United States should "exact revenge" for the attack on Benghazi, they might have known that they needed to go to extra lengths to verify her "blockbuster" story on the subject."

My guess is this is Graham's last term. So this is the crap he'll be remembered for.

The dude lives his life by a fairytale that has a big guy in the sky that will punish him and the rest of the country if they don't do what he says.  Compared to that Benghazi seems downright plausible.

But God....that poor chicken.

"Was it a protest? Was it an al Qaeda-inspired attack?" Graham asked again Sunday.

[whynotboth?]

It was an attack by an Al Quada affiliated group including locals many of whom were, indeed, angry about the video.

How farking hard is that to understand?

All I want to do is talk to the survivors, protecting their security, protecting their identity, to find out exactly what did happen," Graham told CNN's "State of the Union."

You don't give a flying fark about what really happened that much should be obvious by now to anyone even remotely paying attention to this issue.

In alterno-reality world the politicians that say this shiat would never hold office for long. They would be removed from office and shunned as two-faced liars.

In our world they are reelected and given book deals.

But there are "questions" that need to be "answered".

Like for example, is Barack Hussein Obama a stupid moron with an ugly face and big butt? And does his butt smell? And, further, does he like to kiss his own butt?

I'm still a little hung over after celebrating the Panthers win, by grabbing a handle of something called "Sir Walter" that purported to be whiskey and chugging for a four- or five- count.

/It supposedly cost $13 for a handle
//Being represented by this basket case would make me drink too.
///Saw that Kay Hagan is already running defensive ads; the Republican primary for that Senate seat would be enough to make me go back for more.

One of the best albums of the 90's.  Shame he became born again and obsessed with gospel/Christian pop.  Wish he had stuck with blues/rock blues.

Wolsey: And what, at the risk of flogging a horse that if not already dead is in mortal danger of expiring, does he think he is going to accomplish this time?

I think the key is here:

FTFA: "All I want to do is talk to the survivors, protecting their security, protecting their identity, to find out exactly what did happen," Graham told CNN's "State of the Union."

There's really nothing left to find out.  We all know what happened and there is no grand conspiracy.  It was just a very terrible event.  Graham probably wants to be able to say he interviewed someone, anyone, when nobody else is around and nobody knows for sure what was said, so he can continue to make baseless accusations against the President.  And, when people ask him to provide some evidence to his claims, he can fall back on the, "ZOMG, I can't reveal their identity because [insert some non-existent threat to their safety]."  And even if some persons pops up after he makes those claims, he's got the old "Oooh, Fartbama got to him" BS to fall back on.

Graham belongs in jail. Lara Logan belongs in my bed. I hope that's clear to everyone.

From what I've heard, he was basically shafted by the combination of the intelligence being loaded and the administration lying to his face. Wilkerson's comments on it are pretty interesting, since he doesn't seem to give a shiat about being blunt.
