(Digital Spy)   I don't know what you're talking about, so here's a picture of Will Ferrell dressed as Ron Burgundy joined by Daft Punk, all three of them riding a bicycle together while in Amsterdam   (digitalspy.com) divider line 11

Why do I have a sinking suspicion that this movie is gonna blow soooooo hard?

Why would you suspect something when every other sequel of a successful comedy was an unmitigated success in its own right?

See, I hear a lot of people say this but I honestly think it is perfect just as the one movie. It has a tidy ending and any sequel would just seem arbitrarily tacked on.

Daft Punk loses 3 cool points for being seen in public with Will Ferrell.

There are very few good comedy sequels.

Does MTV still play music videos in Europe? If so, lucky bastards.

Because they're pushing it for overseas distribution?

I mean, if there's anyone who finds 1970s American local news hilarious and nostalgic, and are huge fans of former stars of SNL, it's the Dutch. Of course!

Airplane 2?

The ten minutes with Shatner and the courtroom scene but otherwise it was mostly recycling jokes from the original. Christmas Vacation, Wayne's World 2 maybe but neither were as good as the originals.

The truth is that most comedy movies start out strong and peak at the half way mark. Office Space for example started going down hill when they started the heist. So any sequels don't have much of a chance.
