That movie was so saccharine I think it gave me diabetes.

But we have a sequel. That love-lorn suitor to Keira Knightly went to Georgia and joined law enforcement.

I liked it, but I don't see any need for a sequel.

Luckily for him working with Knightly gave him some experience dealing with walking corpses.

Stick a sock in it, subbo. I like that film.

//become a pop star, then they give them to you for free!

Curtis talking about Liam Neeson and saying "One of the things that's funny about the film is that it's been changed by outside circumstances kind of wonderfully" is a bit jarring. Liam played a recent widower in the movie and a couple of years ago became a widower. Not exactly "wonderful"....

I can only hope it was said in a different context and the reporter put it in there.

Bill Nighy kills it in that movie.

/Hello? Elton! Of course. Of, of course! Send an embarrassingly big car and I'll be there!

I thank the gods, old and new, that my wife doesn't watch this kind of fairy tale romance pap.

Can we get a sequel to this?

Screw you. I like that movie. I hope I'm as cool as Liam Neeson's kid when I grow up.

On the list of movies that have gotten me laid, I think Love Actually ranks second.

#1?  The 5th Element, surprisingly enough.

All I remember is Laura Linney.

That movie solidified my contempt for Hugh Grant.

I didn't care for it, but mostly because some vapid twat I know planned her entire wedding around it and insisted I watch it because it was "even better than Princess Bride" which it was not.

You shut your whore mouth, Subby.

5th Element?  Really?  Huh.  Got to agree with you on Love Actually, though.

/Out of curiosity, how does Princess Bride rank?

I generally hate rom coms but I liked Love Actually. That said, I don't need a sequel.

/no thank you

I'm not gonna say I'm a big fan of the movie, but I am a big fan of Bill Nighy and his being in it, tips the balance to "like".

Another vote for Love Actually.  We have it stored on the DVR.

The 5th Element is still an awesome movie.

The 5th element is LOVE *barf*. I can see why chicks might dig that idea.

I think Curtis was referring to Neeson having become an action star since that film came out, but yeah, I had the same thought originally.

So, ummm, the 5th Element gave you a multipass?
