And it's awful even by modern rap standards.

Abba, The Beatles & Led Zeppelin? Those cowards never would have won a fight against The Backyard Gang!

Not worth pirating.  Buy another copy of Yeezus instead.

Ah, how pertinent, the inane ramblings of a rich 40 year old white guy.

British music fans are total asswipes.

It's almost like Ali G. was making fun a large, specific demographic.

It's seriously, seriously bad.

Schroedinger's Glory Hole: Not worth pirating.  Buy another copy of Yeezus instead.

Yeezus was one of the worst produced albums I have ever heard.

at least it isn't full of homophobic lyrics and threats of violence

// but seriously, not rapping about cars and money gives him a +1 in my book

In 9 million years there's no chance I would ever listen to one second of his crap.

He should just give up now.

The way I see it, this nasty little scowling old man could retire, or go the the Snoop route and chill and enjoy his success. From the mean-mugging and attitude he was projecting on SNL twoweeks ago it seems like he just wants to go on acting like a farking prick.

I unironically enjoy a lot of Eminem's songs, especially most of his Recovery album, but yeah this one is pretty bad.

I'm going to assume your taste in music is indicative of further character defects and invite you to shiat in your hat.

I liked him a decade earlier, when he was black, wittier and called Schooly D.

If you think Yeezus was well produced, you've got worse taste in music than me.

That shiat was amateurish garbage and mastered worse than a Skrillex album.  I hear kids doing lo-fi shiat on 4 tracks and tape recorders that sounds better.

Wow, so they actually have worse taste in something besides their food?

It's not even my style of music (i.e., I haven't listened beyond what made it to the radio), but every time there's an article on fark about something popular, comments like this overwhelm the thread.  In fact, the general consensus seems to be "it's decent"  http://www.metacritic.com/music/the-marshall-mathers-lp-2/eminem .

That's how things work on Fark, the whole internet really. It isn't enough for people to say they don't like a particular band or artist, it has to be complete shiat, worst band/artist ever.

Outside of Berserk(which is way too busy), the tracks I've heard sound fairly similar to his old stuff and pretty decent. Just the lyrics now are about being tired of celebrity. Which I guess depending on how you take that can have a love it or hate it effect.

It sounds like a good Beastie Boys album, whatever that means.

I'm a huge Eminem fan. The album will grow on you after a few listens. Some tracks are bad, but some are very good. I found that he used a few too many samples, but I think that's what he was going for.

Slim Shady LP, Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem Show and Recovery are still much better albums overall.

The Heist is still the best hip hop album to come out in the last couple years.
