And just what the fark were you expecting from "professionals"?
Calling it a "game" is the disconnect. It is a money for profit business, many long miles from a "game".

There is no "player" in business!

This isn't an issue about bullying, this is of mine and Jon's relationship

Yes, relationship. That's a good word to describe two guys who share a carriage ride around New Orleans. And isn't Incognito "hiding out" in Beverly Hills? Isn't Martin's family from LA?

Everything this guy does is not his fault. What a whiner.

I'm still amazed at how many people fault Martin for seeking help.

I guess he should have shot Incognito, then shot himself? It's less than a year since a Kansas City player did just that to his girlfriend. All you heard was "we wish he had sought help". Now when Martin seeks help rather than resorting to violence, he's "weak" and "soft".

The more I've read on this, the more I blame Martin. I wouldn't want him as a teammate.

I think it is absolutely insane, the victim blaming that is going on, just insane. Martin is in no way responsible for this shiat, Incognito is. Incognito is a scum-sucking asshole of the first degree, and anyone who defends him is pureed, garnished shiat as well.

The language and behavior we've been seeing from Incognito and Martin is frighteningly similar to what you see in long-term domestic abuse cases.

And if there's any credence to this "warrior's code" bullshiat (as in, the hyper-alpha-male thinking, not the recent meme), then fine - Incognito, Philbin, and Ireland should commit seppuku for bringing shame to the league.

He should have this meathead locked up in a hotel in Italy, as far away from the press as possible.

This.

Also the Dolphins really need to tell their current players to STFU about this and reach out to the guys who aren't on the team now, but were on the team when this shiat was taking place and tell them to shut their mouths also. Every time one of those guys opens their mouths to defend Incognito, they reveal just a little more of what went on, and it all points to the fact that the Dolphins encouraged this to go on.

I'm waiting for the Ted Wells report.  Having seen workplace bullying in action (corporate environment) I'd like to see this issue blown wide open.  Toxic work environments for all of us won't be eliminated until it becomes a bottom line issue to the employer--meaning HR will set policy and actually do something.  The NFL is a great vehicle to send the message that bullying is not acceptable in the workplace.

Honestly, this is very well may be the farking tipping point for what doesn't farking matter.  Of all the things wrong with unemployment, underemployment, healthcare, poverty, crime, education, etc, this has got to be one of the biggest farking jokes of all time.  An entire nation captivated by two gigantic retards text dissings.

All of you that think that the Wells report is actually going to say something are in for a big shock. It's going to be kept private to protect the privacy of the players involved. The NFL is deathly afraid about the story an in-locker room relationship getting out.

seeking LEGAL help, yeah.

if only Jovan Belcher had figured out that he could instead sue the Chiefs, the NFL and teammates for his baby momma's transgressions rather than assassinating her then taking his own life, tragedy may have been averted.  Pity he didn't have barristers for parents and attend Stanford.

Martin's lawyer tweeting the 'internet meme' excuse for his own texts is Fark worthy...

Obviously I'd wish that Mr. Incognito gets bounced outta the league and Mr. Martin gets let back in, but it's not going to end that way.

A 300 pound man doesn't belong on any sporting field. Unless you're 8' tall, weighing 300 pounds means you're clinically obese. There's a reason why guys like this are only given a role in dumb niche sports like American Football and Sumo Wrestling.
