I'm bad at my Republican math.  What's 8 x Potato?

Never trust a republican with forearms over 3 feet long.

So let's just assume that Chris Christie is a relatively intelligent man... I might give him a 132...

/Good thing Ann is as much of an expert on IQ as she is on politics in the first place.

Coincidentally, his BMI is also eight times higher than McCain's.

I think she can no do the maths

No matter what Ann Coulter says, you can safely assume that she's probably wrong.

Ann is struggling for relevance these days. Before long she'll suck you off for $1,000

Ummm. John McCain lives in Arizona. Arizona, man. I don't think it is a stretch to say that given the choice between the two, the smart man opts for New Jersey.

2013-11-09 09:43:57 AM
Ann is still bitter that the Republicans nominated McCain over her express wishes back in 2008. She hasn't been this angry since Amalgamated Gentleman's Concealment Straps went bust back in aught-four.

2013-11-09 09:52:08 AM
It's just the math they do as Republicans to make themselves feel better

The poor suburb of New York?  Nobody opts for New Jersey.  They settle for it.

Haha, she's suspicious that the liberals are telling her who the republican's best candidate is.

Sooo...hint hint, this ain't no briar patch situation.

2013-11-09 10:45:24 AM
There's probably a really good, intelligent reason for living in New Jersey, but you and I are not smart enough to understand it.

enry: And John McCain has an IQ 8 times higher than Ann Coulter.

Ann Coulter has an IQ?

2013-11-09 11:31:25 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the IQ scale is not logarithmic, so McCain would probably have to have an IQ of the low double-digits for Christie to have an IQ 8 times the size of McCain's

2013-11-09 11:36:49 AM
Take into consideration that the average IQ of a society is standardized at 100. People who are successful enough to win major political office generally tend to be more well-educated than the rest of the population and have a bit higher IQ average so I'll guesstimate and give Christie an IQ in the 120-140 range.

Assuming the previous is true, Coulter is thus claiming that McCain's IQ would be around 15-20, which is downright silly. That's not even Down syndrome level retarded, it's Cerebral palsy, cannot-get-of-bed-by-themselves range mentally handicapped.

/wait, did I just try to rationalize a statement made by Ann Coulter?

She could be trying to say that Chris Christie is the most intelligent person that has ever lived by an incredibly huge margin. I doubt that is true, but whatevski.

I'm usually pretty good about playing devil's advocate and can find something to grasp onto and think 'they meant to say this', but I can't figure out any way to twist IQ scores so that you can claim one person has 8 times the IQ of another without implying one of them has severe mental retardation.

The statement says more about her IQ.

Wait wait wait...I thought the Teaderpers were now saying that Christie is a RINO since he said some nice things about Obama. What changed? I'm so confused.

Coulter has actually been in the anti-Teaderper wing of the GOP for awhile now, mostly since she had to separate herself from the even crazier pundits (i.e, Glenn Beck). Back in the 2012 election, she kept telling the birthers to drop the issue because she thought it was stupid and did more damage to conservatives' image than gain them any support.

Yes, you read that right. Ann Coulter is now considered a voice of reason within the Republican Party.

2013-11-09 11:44:37 AM
Ann Coulter makes flippant remark in un-scripted interview and it makes the news. Frankly I don't think she deserves that much attention.

Teaderpers had their asses handed to them this week in numerous elections. Christie was reelected by a comfortable margin.

The ship may be trying to right itself instead of capsizing.

She doesn't care, she's a professional troll.

If you take her seriously you haven't "got" the joke.

The terrible, disgusting, unfunny yet very very profitable joke.

I'd really like to talk about the Republican politician that is advocating for the death penalty for rebellious children but instead we're talking about Man Coulter.

If Chris Christie is so smart, how come he doesn't make millions by writing the same book over and over with titles increasingly hostile towards anyone who even slightly disagrees with her?

I've read about this in nature. Apparently, the Teahadists have a very small memory. This leads to awkward moments of the Teahadists attacking one another while trying to befriend their enemies.

It's even worse than that.  An IQ of 20 would be more than 5 standard deviations below mean, which would mean that there would be less than 0.0000006 of the population dumber than he.  In the US, that would mean fewer than 180 people dumber than he.
