Quasar? Meh, you can't make enough credits playing that unless you cheat, and that just gets you thrown out of the casino.

When the set's picture would go wonky, dad would pull the tubes out and we'd head down to Heathkit to use the tube tester. Many times I'd pick up a project kit.

Oh look, something is happening that current theories say should not happen.  Since we follow the scientific method we will replace/improve our theories to better fit the data/facts.

...Or we could take the religious method and deny the data along with punishing the heretics who brings us this Satanic data.  Clearly this is just Einstein testing our faith in his divine equations.

That's kind of a funny post because Einstein pushed for relativity to work out because he felt it 'would be preferable'.
As Einstein later said, the reason for the development of general relativity was the preference of inertial motion within  , while a theory which from the outset prefers no state of motion (even accelerated ones) appeared more satisfactory to him.

In the face of lots of evidence, Einstein continued to dismiss quantum mechanics because of his *belief*.
'As Einstein died at the age of 76 he still would not accept quantum theory'

Yeah man, I can remember sitting an arms length away from the TV and cranking the dial between the 4 active channels that landed somewhere between 2~13.   And if you lived near a city you might actually get something on UHF.  Kids today don't know how easy they have it what with their Hulu and Netflix and a 100 channels of HD.

/Monty Python came on at 10:30pm
/Don't know how much longer I will remember being able to do that
//Hopefully for a while more

So, we'll need a volunteer to go over there and inform it that it is in violation and needs to stop existing.

Anyone?

But hey, I just read an article that said we've already discovered and figured out everything.

And to prove it...this was my 20th article saying this over the last past 30 years.

io9 should not be able to write an article...somehow it does.
