"Republicans" and "know" should never be in the same sentence.

It's not very bootstrappy of them to insist that they get some sort of a ribbon for participation.

The Tea Party LOST.

Something about that young man in the photo is very disturbing to me.

According to the Derpashpere™ the GOP lost by so little in Virginia that it was technically a win and besides outside Dimocrat money and a Libertarian candidate and reasons, therefore.

2013-11-07 01:26:08 PM
Ironic that a racist hatred of Obama led to a Monty Python's Black Knight paradigm.

2013-11-07 01:27:12 PM
Really? I thought Christie won?
In Virginia, a doufus nobody wanted to run and had no money lost to a guy with huge backing. The only story there is that doufus closed a 15 point gap as soon as he started running against the ACA instead of his opponent.

2013-11-07 01:27:54 PM
That's right, Republicans. Keep taking the blue pill.

Is Christie still a Republican?

2013-11-07 01:30:16 PM
If the Republican Party, after Tuesday's elections in Virginia, represented a character from the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", they would be the Black Knight.

"I SENT A MESSAGE TO WASHINGTON ABOUT OBAMACARE!!!  (My election loss??? It's just a flesh wound!)"

I'm going to start using this line of thinking for the Pittsburgh Steelers' pathetic season.  You hear, that New England?  The fact that you could only beat us by 24 points on Sunday is proof that we're the better team!  So, enjoy your "win", pussies!

He was a RINO until it was politically expedient for him to no longer be a RINO. WINNING!!!

They know. That's why they were so adamant to scream that Obama lied. They were trying to distract people from their losses on election day.

Same reason Benghazi resurfaced after the republican lead shutdown.

If the GOP suddenly pushed a story repeatedly, that usually means they farked up something big time. And the media and surprisingly Fark was eager to help them cover up their defeats.

After a lifetime of training as fundamentalist Christians, the conservatives are well prepared for self delusion and denial.  I would say that they are experts.

2013-11-07 01:33:19 PM
If they lost, it's only because they weren't conservative enough.

They should refocus their efforts on how gays shouldn't be able to get married, Mexicans (or Illegals if you prefer) and inner-city folks are taking too many "entitlements", and how we as a nation shouldn't have to pay the bills Big Government has run up. And tax cuts for everyone, especially the middle class (Americans making $250,000 to $1,000,000 per year).

/It can't lose!

If I were a chicken, I wouldn 't encourage the Republicans to continue with their strategy of the last few years .  But whatever, it's your cloaca.

2013-11-07 01:36:50 PM
Well, Libertarians should foster the attitude that moving further to the right will solve the problem. Every time the GOP does that, the LP gets even more votes, inching closer to the magic 10% mark.

"didn't pray enough" = "not conservative enough"

Seriously, this is why there is such a delusional problem.

Its fits well with the whole, "every time someone criticizes us, it validates out views more" attitude.

The Democrats ran a crappy candidate. If Republicans had run someone that could even PRETEND to be reasonable, they would've won.

But nope, they had to run a lunatic Teabagger, and they lost. Expect to see this pattern repeated.

Anyone catch Crossfire on Thursday evening?  Newt Gingrich came out of the gate claiming all kinds of victories left and right, and the black co-host was just looking at him like, "which alternate universe did YOU just float in from, cracker?"

It's typical conservative mentality. NEVER admit that you're wrong, NEVER admit that you lost, NEVER admit that your policies don't work. NEVER show weakness. If someone points out any of the above, start shouting louder and angrier until they shut up, and claim victory by forfeiture.
