Well then, I'll just use this thread to point folks toward my favorite early Gary Numan songs. If you're not familiar with Numan (or only familiar with 'Cars'), and like that particularly menacing version of the '80s synth sound, you might just find something that will blow you away. 35 years later, and it still sounds better and more relevant than the legion of folks who have tried to re-capture that sound/feeling in every decade that followed:
