Blame it would h the rain, eh?

If I was him I'd claim that someone else sent the tweet and I just satbat na keyboard pretending to type.

We're told the contractor didn't follow protocol and the alerts were sent to the public by mistake.

Really? I would never have guessed that myself.

To be fair, it's only a matter of time before some woman causes an accident anyway, so replace 'fake' with 'prescient.'

So it's not raining?

Between their new voting restrictions to stop black people and the poor from voting, their tax cuts for the rich while raising taxes on the poor, and other f*ckery, NC is quickly become the most f*cked up state in the union....well after Florida of course.

Great, now Obamacare is going to cause auto insurance rates to skyrocket too. Thanks Chairman Maobama!

Can they beat Kansas, Texas, and Arizona?

That's one that falls into the Poe's Law gray zone. Was he REALLY being an asshat, or was he just joking around while testing the system, since Obamacare has become a huge punchline for comedians because of the website issues.

I dunno but North Carolina is trying very hard.  It's kind of surprising, because it wasn't too long ago that the state was trying to be progressive, either as a result of or to shore up its high-tech economy.  The "Research Triangle" isn't nearly as prestigious as the locals think it is, but it's certainly well-known.  What the hell happened?

OMG! We're All Gonna Die!: Which part of the statement was inaccurate?

Well, probably the Obamacare bit, because that website is still farked as far as I know.

However, anyone in NC can tell you that rain does seem to addle most drivers' minds for some reason. And don't get me started on snow or ice.

And now, I'm off to organize a lynching, burn a few polling places, remove the history text books from a few classes and replace them with Bibles, and otherwise enjoy my white privilege.

Obamacare ran over my cat and just kept going, didn't even stop and apologize.

Some teabaggers got swept in in 2010 and went UTTERLY BATshiat. Instead of trying to do slow changes so people wouldn't notice as much, they just sort of went "fark EVVERRYYYTTHIIINGG". At least in Virginia, when some Republicans tried to basically *eliminate the seat* of the guy who attended Obama's nomination (since they would have been able to, since with him absent they had a majority), other Republicans went ".. WTF? No.". In NC, the folks that got elected would have *eagerly* gone along with that. =/.

/I fear for my home state. =( Then again, it was Chapel Hill I grew up in, so I realize my experience of the state is much different...

Having moved from Kansas to Wilmington in 2011, I can assure you that the 2010 batshiatification is not an isolated incidence.  I sure as hell wouldn't move back.

I'm up to speed on that side; I just wonder how the demographics changed so quickly.  There's no derp quite like North Carolina derp, but the state generally had the numbers in the "Research Triangle" area to keep them in check.  I wonder if the Great Industrial Crash of 2009 had anything to do with it (a frightening number of engineers got laid off during the '08 recession).

I am in favor of a playoff format of some kind. Maybe structure it similar to what college football will be doing next year.

I have Jewish friends in NC. They know there are places where if you say you are Jewish, the conversation ends.

Of course it was a joke, but its a lesson that every developer eventually learns.

Stop amusing yourself with inappropriate test data because it will eventually get out.

What the hell happened is what the rest of the world is asking in regards to the US.
