HUH?!?!

Robert Downey Jr. was brilliant in that movie. If not for Heath Ledger's stellar Joker that year, he should have walked off with the Oscar

While I do agree that RDJ was awesome in it, I think that Tom Cruise beat him by a little bit. Cruise was just amazing. I didn't even realize it was him until about halfway through the movie.

Both were awesome in that movie.  I typically can't stand Tom Cruise, but he is hilarious as that character.

I think this line will become a cultural standard.

- "Don't get uppity with me; who do you think you are? Obama's son?"
- "If Obama had a son, he'd be a Heineken drinking crack dealer - like you"

The current crop of flight attendants are gay men and women who weren't attractive and friendly enough to make it as a lunch lady.

That doesn't make any sense. It would be like saying Mark Ruffalo was brilliant as Bruce Banner/Hulk, and you posting Lou Ferigno hulking out. They're two completely separate takes on the same character.

If he said he was the best Joker ever, you might have a point.

I don't know about topping him, but Troy Baker took over The Joker for Arkham Origins and did pretty well. It's impressive when you consider that his two other big 2013 video game roles were the manly, deep-voiced protagonists (Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite and Joel in The Last of Us).

I haven't gotten that far in origin's yet, and I have my suspicions about the "relationship" between the Joker and the main antagonist.  I'll have to wait and see (no spoilers, please :D )

Tropic Thunder was one of those movies I went in expecting to hate because it had Ben Stiller and Jack Black in it.  Fortunately, RDJ and, surprisingly, Tom Cruise were there to save it.  It also helped that it was sort of like The Expendables where each actor was more or less spoofing himself.
