I think it should be a universe jumping scifi adventure where Saul goes to different worlds to defend the accused at important points in history. But he longs to return home, to his barrels of drug money

Normally I would hate this. I loved the show and I loved how it ended. It was the worst of all worlds.

But I would love to see a good Saul spinoff. I'm sure it will be ridiculous, but I'm on board.

At the risk of making it a clusterfark, find a way to add Badger and Skinny Pete. Everyone loves them.

Will he have his chunky receptionist make fake phone calls and stuff? Will he bang her?

So we get to see Saul's hijinx after becoming manager of a Cinnabon?

I can live with that.

No way this will be good without Gilligan. I hope it is, but I just can't see it.

Good god fark really!? It says COULD, NOT WILL BE. I keep coming back to this site in hopes of great news even though Reddit (which sucks in its own right) has up to date info on news. I read this article and got excited thinking you might've got an updates article.. But nope, just a false headline. TO anyone to didn't read the article, its not confirmed either way...

I think they can pull it off if they don't make the mistake of telling us more about Jesse or Walt in the sequel parts. In the prequel, that could work just fine.  Giving us a glimpse of either of those characters before they broke bad wouldn't ruin anything that the show did.  The sequel though needs to leave off entirely, except maybe for Saul talking about the things we already know.  Any attempts at finding out what happened to Walt and Jesse after the finale (or really, the episode where Saul left) should be met with Saul putting his fingers in his ears and going "LALALALALALALALALALA".  Possibly literally.  Actually that would be a great way to establish the rules: someone starts off with "did you hear about what happened with that chem teacher with cancer who turned into a huge meth kingpin" and Saul immediately starts talking really loud and leaves the room as quickly as possible.  As far as he's concerned (and the audience is concerned) Walt and Jesse and everyone else from New Mexico ceased to exist the minute the Vacuum Repair Guy got him out of town.

...with the possible exception of Badger and Skinny Pete.  You're right: everyone loves those guys.  They could show up in the sequel and not ruin anything.  Hell, they'd have the perfect excuse for not knowing anything, because they're too busy talking about elaborate Star Trek fan scripts or "something called Babylon 5".  They could have crazy elaborate theories on what really happened to Walt that all have no bearing on reality, and no actual knowledge of the events, and it would be completely in character.

That's just an outside chance though.  Far more likely they'll show up in the prequel, if at all.  Bonus: a further outside chance of Combo making a reappearance.

Cobblestone Flag: Go back to Reddit, no one wants you

Haha You guys are always butthurt when people bring up Reddit its pretty funny. Its like it just stings you every time you see it. But please if your gonna say that feel free to comment on the fact that its misrepresenting the Article entirely. Its purely speculation. And believe me, both sites have horrible problems. People are whiney little bastards and it seems like people here (In the last 2 years) feel like they are above everyone else. But once again, the main point is that this site has mods that do not do a good job moderating and green lighting articles that are flawed and taking down ones that people actually would love to read. A smile change of making it "Could" would be wonderful. Goodbye butthurt fark :) Drews the best btw.

I actually don't mind Reddit and don't care that much. You are just flipping your lid over something quite silly and I wanted to press your buttons. Just go with the flow man, everything will be alright. Fark has been doing the trollbait thing for awhile now. And of course a site like Reddit is going to have things sooner. I just like the community here.

Saul gazed out at the throng of christmas shoppers who clogged the westroads like so many foul turds backing up a public toilet. More often than he'd like he forced a smile and dispensed another cinnamon roll to another suburbanite fattie in a husker sweatshirt.

"Hey, you have a nice day, okay?" he always tried to say as they waddled off before cursing them under his breath.  Even when he was inside here Saul was still cold and the eternal gray sky of the Omaha winter turned his soul and everything else dark with despair.  There was no more sun...just gray sky and brown dead grass.

"How many years ago was that?" he asked his zit-faced employee, named Walter of all the damned things.  "How many years since that guy went nuts and shot up Von Mauer?"

"Six years, I think, Mr. Pachowski," Walter said flatly as he scratched at a real prize-winner of a boil on his cheek.

"Six years?" Saul said and looked out at the see of obesity and consumerism.  "Six years? God help me I hope that kid comes back and comes here."

"What, Mr. Pachowski?" Walter asked.

"Nothing," Saul said, disgusted.  "I just wish he would come back and come here so I could give him a free cinnamon roll.  Yeah, a free roll."

His polyster black pants made his butt itch and his legs itch and his feet hurt in these shiatty shoes and this was no life for anyone.

"He killed himself, Mr. Pachowski.  He killed all those people and then killed himself."

"Yeah? Well can you blame him?"

The smell of cinnamon was cloying and its stink haunted his very dreams.

That's all well and good, but my main question is whether or not Huell ever gets out of the room. It's entirely possible they just forgot about him.

Poor Huell.

I don't know if this is the dumbest idea ever or the best idea ever: a crossover of Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. Breaking Dead. In an alternative universe, Albuquerque is overrun with zombies and Walt and Jesse have to figure out how to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Walt begins to make meth as a resource to buy the various surviving criminal's loyalties and begins to raise an army.
Of course, this is all played for laughs, because come on, it's Walter White fighting zombies with chemistry and cooking meth in post-apocalyptic New Mexico.

I'm growing less and less interested in this as the last episode of Breaking Bad fades farther and farther away. TFA pretty much nailed it when the author talked about the story being done.

This. A lot of butthurt whineyness around here, lately. We're better than Reddit, people! Start remembering that and acting like it.

Wait, they're considering another sequel?  It doesn't seem like that much time could have passed between the end of Breaking Bad and the start of the zombie apocalypse in The Walking Dead.  So, either AMC is gearing up for another zombie show in the same universe or this talk about it being a sequel is all bull.

I'd love to see it open with that, and then have the entire show told in flashback from there.

Or better, find out that he couldn't land the Cinnabon job and that he's working as assistant manager of a Spencer's Gifts.

An Orange is the New Black type flashback story might work here.  Maybe instead there could be a flash-ahead type story.  I will personally try watching because it is already going to be better than ANYTHING on network tv.

I can think of several ways that BB could have ended that would have been far worse for Walter White, considering the collateral damage of his actions.  He effectively got everything he wished for.

Lady Indica: At the risk of making it a clusterfark, find a way to add Badger and Skinny Pete. Everyone loves them. And Wendy.

Gilligan is already on record as saying he'd like guys like Mike to show up.  And it would also make sense to see more Ira and the Vaminos Pest crew (including Todd), since Saul had been "pulling their chestnuts out of the fire for years".  And we'd also likely meet Danny, the laser tag guy, and delve into the lives of the hair salon ladies.

how about make it a parallel show... runs at the exact same time as breaking bad?  saul's whole day wasn't just dealing with walt and jessie's shenanigans.  his waiting room was always full of interesting looking people.  he has all sorts of connections we don't really know about.  there's all kinds of fodder for great stories, plus it would allow the writers to bring breaking bad characters back at any given moment.  this would grab the most viewers, i think, because they'd be constantly associating what saul's up to with what was going on with walt and jessie at that exact moment, and they'd keep rewinding and rewatching episodes trying to find the slightest references to breaking bad, so they can try to out-nerd each other the next day at work around the water cooler.
