Organic ....
I am 100% certain that all food is Organic by definition.
Call it what it is, not some retarded "pretend" label.

Meh, whatever makes you feel good. Unfortunately, there are many undisclosed "exceptions" and the industry and lobbyist-corrupted government regulators want to keep consumers in the dark. So for most food all "organic" means is "contains carbon-based molecules".

Everything is natural. It was either made by nature or by something nature made. I mean, when a beaver builds a dam, is that natural?

I refuse to eat all-natural foods, since it's only a marketing label that's used to manipulate stupid people.

That's why I only eat the malefic drippings and ooze from D'on'rish, the black goat from behind the stars, whose seed spawns a thousand hellscapes of madness and decay.  Well, that and Pop-Tarts, but that goes without saying.

2013-11-06 11:34:12 PM
Technically speaking everything is natural, it all comes from good old mother earth.

Personally I don't want to eat natural foods. Natural foods have no damn flavor and they go stale or spoil within a day or two.

Which is why infants love honey. It's straight from nature, so it has to be good for you.

Also, avoid pasteurization. If the good lord wanted us to not get poisoned milk, he'd have built the cows that way.

I hate food with chemicals in it, or atoms of any kind.

If there is anything that gets the Fark Angry Skeptical Engineer Brigade all angry and skeptical... it is the idea that other people buy things for reasons that they don't like.

Of course, this would be all for not if the US had any sort of reasonable labeling laws.  Corporations have a right to lie to you.  You have a right to buy or not buy for whatever reason you like.  That is the way we like it!

I found a bottle of maple syrup that had a giant sticker of 100% natural, in small print 10% maple syrup turned it over ingredients high fructose corn syrup, water, artificial maple flavor, then maple syrup.

Add additional layers of "...laborers paid living wages, harvested without the use of the short handled hoe, and does not hire laborers younger than 16 yrs old..."  to the list of what is Organic!  Or not; saw that here in Kalifornia!

Really tasty, too. They sh!at all over Pascals for flavor. The perfect storm of a catchy brand name and great product.

And some really memorable TV adverts.

In preparing for a recent "joke" that I shouldn't even have bothered making I learned that there is at least one celebrity out there who doesn't eat things which had to die. I'm guessing that limits her to rocks and dirt... or anything at all, since nobody's pre-food is really in a state which requires death.

/Anything made with Dubnium and Stepnium is guaranteed to be unpopular.

I love it when people complain about "chemicals" in their foods. It's awesome, because it means nothing considering that all foods, even your locally-sourced seasonal organic free-range berries, are literally comprised of chemicals, and it also outs the person as completely science illiterate.

Same as people who think "organic" means "cultivated without pesticides".

Ctrl + Shift + F

Ahh... Most of that is dressing and nacho cheese blend. Both things to avoid.

I've started to look for Powdered Cellulose on ingredients lists. It's basically indigestible starch made from wood or plant fibers. It's also everywhere.

100 percent apple juice. It is possible to tell if that's true or not.  Freshly squeezed from the udders of apples  (I'm tired, sue me)
