folks can watch Roots and see the lords owning their slaves, and it's crystal clear...

but when folks watch films about the european monarchs...  they fail to see that the serfs are slaves.. and instead identify with the lords.  so instead of (rightfully) wishing to smash the brains out of the royals.. they watch it as a romantic ideal situation.

/ in films about the lords and ladies... we are the serfs.
