The second wolverine movie was real good until the last 15 minutes where they ditched everything they built up and instead had a bored 7 year old take the reigns.

I liked the first movie. While they did horrible things to the character of Deadpool, the story its self was engaging, and entertaining. I've never understood the hate and butthurt over it.

If we're going for the 9th appearance as Wolverine, can we have him just kill everyone wearing blue in a Best Buy, and maybe take down the patrons of a coffee shop using a laptop.  Perhaps he can be on hold with tech support while eating a sandwich.

Sorry, but I'm kinda Wolverine-out at this point.

It has been a while since I watched the movie but I recall not liking it because it had huge plot holes and was a disjointed mess narrative wise.

As I said elsewhere, due to Days of Future Past possibly undoing Last Stand, this will mean the events in Logan's second movie possibly won't have happened so the next sequel would be the first sequel.

Well, considering we're pretty burned out on Wolverine, how about an Alpha Flight movie?

I love wolverine and to be honest if it wasn't for him I would have absolutely zero interest in the X-men. I wish they would just make a true to form wolverine movie. One where he kicks all kinds of ass for an hour and a half and doesn't get his claws cut off or adamantium removed unless its pulled out of his body by magneto. I don't care who the villain is or if he wears the costume or not. I just want a very pissed off, violent, animalistic berserker wolverine that makes the villain or villains regret they ever messed with the guy. No love interest, no side story, just kicking ass.

This will make his eighth time? That's got to be a record for an actor playing a superhero.  Has anyone else even come close?

This.

I never liked Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and the quality control on these movies is pretty spotty. Another movie that comes out and is quickly forgotten once the TNT re-runs end.

Yep. She was introduced in 2004. I stopped buying comics around 2001, after the Mutant X comic ended and the title was reused for that awful TV show.

Right after the Power Pack movie.

Me too. That whole 30 second scene in that movie was more wolverine than any of his solo films could muster. We need more of that.

There was a perfect moment for that in the last film when wolverine was arrowed 500 times by all the ninjas when he walked through town. I don't see why the streets couldn't have been litered with bloody ninja parts as he made his way to the castle.

The Wolverine was awful.

And as much as I like the character, I wish they'd stop shoehorning him into everything. The upcoming X-men movie is probably going disappoint given the shift in focus.

Connery only did 6.

The real Bond (Roger Moore) did 7.

Well, if  we go with the first class group, that would leave Magneto or Rogue, who are the most memorable characters from that film. And kill off the female Angel character.

I can hardly wait to see how Wolverine handles his adamantium walker in the next movie...

I think the deal is that Wolverine just ages very, very slowly. Although with his healing factor, he may be close to immortal.

What, that the headline has nothing to do with the article? I've been on Fark so long that I no longer expect anything to correlate, whether it be the Fark Thread header or article titles.
