Was the Sick tag on bed rest at Walter Reed?

The most generous I can be is that this was a good intention gone astray.

In reality it is repugnant and offensive to common taste.

In the blue stars section of the uniforms, there are blue runs/ streaks of paint.  My conclusion: not blood.  Just runny paint.
