Women have hiding places men don't, and that male cops aren't allowed to search in detail, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

To paraphrase Jello Biafra and D.O.A., "Her toy gun looked real, I had to defend myself, I'm always looking for excuses to defend myself!"

Nice try, Lucy, but forensics can tell the difference between a self-administered wound and a wound caused by a cop at short range.

This has happened before. Cops miss guns all the times. And you can ABSOLUTELY shoot yourself, even in the head, whilst your hands are cuffed behind your back. I've seen video of re-creations, and after seeing them, I'm pretty sure I could the same thing.

Happened in Arkansas not too long ago.

/Not a big fan of the cops in general.

And how would she reach those places with her hands cuffed behind her back?

I guess the unlikely tag was also a casualty.

Reminds me of the time in the deep south in the 1950's when it was found that the black man tried to swim across a lake with all the chains and locks he had stolen from the hardware store that he had become entangled in,  Oh, and he shot himself in the head 3 times with a gun he had stolen from the same establishment. And to top off his stupidity, before swimming across the lake, he stood in a batch of concrete that he mistook for a foot cleaning bucket. Police rightly found it to be suicide caused by carelessness.

The original bust was for unsafely changing cars on the L? Gee, it's good to know that Chicago solved all of its major crime problems, etc., etc.

I've heard this one before. Except in that case it was a black male who "shot himself" while sitting cuffed in the back of a squad car. Everyone called bullshiat on that one, too.

The gun was in the small of her back.  Maybe tucked into her waistband.  She was handcuffed with her hands behind her back.

Does it make sense now?
