I'd let her sit my baby's arm.

I was fully expecting the usual troglodyte that accompanies a "smoking hot" headline.

I was pleasantly surprised.

To all those checking comments first, fear not.

To allay any fears, this is the girl in question:

//the pic, the girls okay too, for a Brit.

I'd bend her back.

Yup, not the horrible nasty thing that normally accompanies a Daily Mail smoking hot link.  That said, and maybe its just the photo they used, but her face looks a good decade older than the 18 years they say she is.

I've noticed that about a lot of the people in these stories, especially the ones that say things like, "I'm nearly 40, but I get carded every time I try to buy a drink!" and then you click the link and they inevitably look 40 or even older.  Maybe people age faster in the UK... doesn't make much sense, though, as they can't be getting much sun damage.  Perhaps they don't moisturize.

She's British. That's the look.

Eww, she's not hideous at all.

2013-11-05 02:29:23 AM
She's cute, especially for a girl in Daily Fail, but she's not model hot, even for a brit.

Congratulations on getting over scoliosis and becoming a model. Now stand like this for an hour while we take photos:

Glad she got better, but not even close to hot.

Scoliosis kept my father out of Viet Nam.  Now, his spine wasn't as kinked as that X-ray, but he was told he would not be accepted into the army.  He volunteered four times.  Dad, I'm glad you had scoliosis.

Farker Soze: She looks 30

You sound young. When you get to my age they all look the same, young. I couldn't tell the difference between a 30 year old and a 20 year old.

I'm 31 and I can definitely tell. It's in the quality of the skin. Really doesn't have to do with wrinkles. There's something about it. Even people who take really good care of themselves, I can tell the decade. Now, there are people who get plastic surgery. And all that does is make you look like you've had plastic surgery. You then enter a completely different category. Not a great one, unless it's so minor I can't tell.

Elvis Presleys Death Throne: Daily Fail should be banned from Fark forever.

Fixed that for you

2013-11-05 02:56:10 AM
The condition is likely to get worse, but Leanne has thrown herself back into modelling regardless.

Way to go, kid. You declined the surgery that could have fixed this, in order to have a couple extra years of modeling. After which, you will be both too old to model, and permanently crippled.

I had the same surgery she had when I was 13. It SUCKED. 6 weeks in intense pain (somewhat, but not completely abated by narcotics and certainly not to the point of tolerance) and hypersensitivity (if a nurse jostled my bed while tending to me, my entire body would hurt) followed by 3 months in an uncomfortable, skin-pinching back brace, and 6 months of limited mobility and range of motion before everything got sorted out.

I've had dozens of operations (somewhere in the high 50's/low 60's) and I would undergo them all again if it meant I could block the spinal fusion from my memory.

2013-11-05 02:58:05 AM
er never mind. Reading comprehension fails this late. I had the surgery that she refused.

2013-11-05 03:18:18 AM
Is she straight?

2013-11-05 03:19:12 AM
I'd hit that so hard that her spine would kink.

You assume I wouldn't hit that like the Shoemaker-Levy comet strike on Jupiter irregardless of her apparent age.

2013-11-05 03:30:06 AM
I would verb her noun, adverbily.

2013-11-05 03:34:42 AM
This may or may not be true, but it's just the Daily Mail's version of "One weird trick could save you thousands of dollars!" They're as anti-medicine as it comes, except when seniors are biatching about being unable to get their meds. The whole article is an op-ed about holistic healing, with no coverage of what eventually happens to people who refuse healing.

If I look younger than I really am, and she looks older than she really is, does that give me any leeway on the whole /2+7 thing?

Actually, some people grow out of it. But that's minor curves.

Guy like me.  three back surgeries between 8  years old and 14years old. Never did correct the problem.

Still a gimp. No drastic pain though, which was so horrible that I couldn't even sit for more than an half hour or I walked like Groucho Marx.

Worse part is a few years after my last surgery, they made major strides in treating it surgically. It would be far too dangerous to attempt those now.

Damn dude, that sucks. Look on the bright side though, I am sure there is some fetish pr0n work for you.

/Couldn't resist a joke.
//Seriously though man, that sucks. I hope they come up with something for you.

To be fair, scoliosis is not a whole lot like obesity and type 2 diabetes.

So how many boxes of pretzels do you think she got while in hospital?

2013-11-05 06:43:25 AM
She's still a bit out of line, but I'd still hit it.

She may still need the surgery later.  But delay is always good when it comes to spinal surgery.

I wouldn't say "smoking hot", but I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating scones.

You get to live, subby... for the moment...

Isn't that because all the articles in the Daily Mail are fake, and she is actually a 30 year old actor paid to participate in the photo shoot?

My first ex-wife had scoliosis. She also hoarded 50# bags of potatoes about the house until they rotted.
Mormon thing.

2013-11-05 07:43:34 AM
Sharp spine. Wouldn't hit.

2013-11-05 07:47:43 AM
Looks like they just transplanted those curves a little farther south.

2013-11-05 07:50:43 AM
My daughter had the surgery in 2010 when she was 13.  She had a 53 degree curve,  They put 24 screws, 2 hooks and 2 bars in her back.  She was up walking (with assistance) the day after surgery.  My wife had the surgery in February of 2013 when she was 47.  She had 70 and 65 degree curves.  Lost the use of her right leg before surgery. After surgery, she gained 2 inches and although it took her a while, she is still in PT, she is making progress.   It is easier to recover as a kid.  2 weeks after kid's surgery, she went to a high school basketball game.  2 weeks after wife's surgery, I was still helping her walk.

/Last name is Humphrey
//Both had large muscle masses on their back, daughter by the shoulder, wife lower back and shoulder.
///Surgery fixed the humps.
////Both are truly Humphrey now!
