Pus-acaine, and pus-nado would follow  at that point.  It would  star either  Ted McGinley or,  Harry Dean Stanton  because  whynot?

Subby may jest, but I would love to see a good either serious or comedy horror movie set in Australia with dropbears as the antagonists. The serious one could be maybe an outdoor survival horror thriller. The silly one could be set just about anywhere urban or rural.

C'mon, filmmakers! Give us a dropbear movie!

Mrs. Brainsick and I were talking one night about which animal we would 'were' into, given a choice (because I married well) and I decided I would be a were-platypus...ever since, I've had an affinity for the li'l critters

/she'd be a were-panther IIRC

Saying they found the fossil in Australia seems redundant. It's a platypus, do they look for platypus fossils in Europe or the US?

Camel fossils tend to be found in North America, despite the nearest camel relative being the alpacas and llamas of the Andes.

Platypus are venomous, like snakes and scorpions.

Platypus are venomous, like snakes and scorpions.

But it was in Australia, so was it possibly super venomous? Of maybe had fangs in it's pouch. Or boomerangs for eyes. I need to know!

On a serious note, now you have me wondering if there is a distinction between venomous and poisonous.
