You lost Mitt.

The only house you couldn't buy was the White House, but its ok, we know you didn't really want to be President anyway.

Go home, roll in your piles of money, but just go.

The Mormons will just have to find someone else to be their "White Horse"

Poor Mittens. Had to run on "What I did in Massachussets worked for the state but not for the country, and now I can't even run on my crowning achievement as governor" instead of "LOOK AT THIS GREAT shiat I DID!*"

*shiat may or may not have been great, but either way he couldn't say that it was and use it in his campaign

A friend is talking about purchasing a four bedroom house with a yard, garage, jacuzzi tub and game room in Kansas for $20k less than my 700sq foot condo in Somerville.

I try to tell myself- "b..b..but Kansas" but then again...jacuzzi tub.

PolitiFact once again bites the big one with their "mostly true" ruling. they know and admit that Romney's point was to bash the ACA. they then showed some reasons why what Romney said is disingenuous at best then said "mostly true".

it's like saying Rand Paul is "mostly true" when he says it's haters picking on him for plagiarizing. all the while ignoring the substance, that he plagiarized.

You know, if the right had wanted to have a debate about the relative strengths of Romneycare in Massachusetts, and what lessons could be learned, that would have been just great.

Instead, they went full derp, labelling whatever proposals were considerred all as "Obamacare" and a socialist takeover.

Single Payer.  That's Obamacare, a socialist takeover.

Expand Medicare?  That's Obamacare, a socialist takeover.

Public Option?  That's Obamacare, a socialist takeover.

Implement Romneycare nationwide?  That's Obamacare, a socialist takeover.

As a kicker:   "Why won't Obama compromise?"

I have no doubt that the ACA could have been made better.  Too bad the loyal opposition squandered any chance to actually contribute to making the law better.

My favorite recent gem from them was giving Suzanne Somers' statement  "Even after Obamacare is fully implemented, there still will be tens of millions of people not covered." a TRUE while ignoring all the other retarded things she wrote in her WSJ opinion piece.

-your property value will probably hold better or even rise compared to your friends.

I was about to say that no one wants to hear what a failed presidential candidate has to say, but then I realized the Dem's last one is Secretary of State, so maybe Romney's fail is pretty epic.

Great reason to vote for him. I wonder why he lost.

Last two actually. While she didn't get the nomination, Hillary was a candidate.

Considering the general regard for neo-confederacy and secessionist talk among the GOP it's not surprising they see no issue with referencing the guy who lost the last election for them.  Tethering yourselves to a loser just seems to be the only thing they know how to do anymore whether it's "legitimate rape" or voting rights being set back or an unwillingness to support and pass an Immigration Bill, the shutdown of the government, etc.

I can only hope it translates to an incredible ass-kicking for them in 2014.  After four years of peak douchebaggery it would be nice to see the Dems in the majority all-around when they're powerless to do anything but sit back and get railroaded.  They asked for Obama to play nice in the first two years of his term.  Largely he did.  Now it's legacy time, farkers.

As somebody that had to go to work and listen ti republican deep all day in a purple state, I am considering a move to bluer places just so I don't have to work with republican assholes. Worst part of it is, I can't set them straight or reply, because that invites the goddamn conversation to last longer...so I find the spot to defeat the conversation to something else all while losing all respect for everybody spewing BS about socialism without even knowing the definition. I'm a bit jealous of my NJ sister, as she doesn't bbr this problem, and at this point I'm ready to trade the accent, high cost of living and traffic for a work environment where it's ok to say somebody is evil simply by calling him Muslim.

This should be the GOP's normal course of business.  Just take liberal ideas and totally fark them up on a state level.  Then let your presidential candidate say how the liberal policies are a bad idea.

Did Bob Dole or Papa Bush complain this much about Clinton after they lost?
