Me and a couple teammates worked at Gap when I was between college/high school, and we had a crit one night on the 2nd floor of the Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver. No real damage other than some skid marks in front of Neiman Markus. This was during the holiday season, and we stayed open an hour later than everyone else, and stayed there another hour re-folding the store, so the crit started about 11:15, and security must have been asleep.

Fast course.

This ... Wally World pulled out of Severance, moved a mile down the road to their new location in South Euclid, but kept the non-compete clause in their old location, so nothing can move in that remotely resembles it.  That means any retail outlet is basically barred from moving into their old location.

As BillO said, farking thing SUCKS.

It's short for critical bowel failure, often a result of mall food.  Mall workers dread them.  Somebody couldn't get to the bathroom fast enough and... just... gross.  Notice the phrase 'skid marks'?

WTF is a crit?

Sorry, I hang around with too many bike racers. A crit is a "criterium," which, in the US, means a short circuit road bicycle race. Course is supposed to be under 1 mile, and the race is timed. So the elite and pro riders will usually have 90 minute race, and whoever crosses the line first on the last lap (which will be near 90 minutes) is the winner. It's a really fast-paced race with high average speeds (I've been in one that averaged 29mph for 60 minutes), very hard cornering, and is sometimes pretty physical with regard to moving people around.

LMAO at the other repsonses. My bowels are now intact. My appendix ruptured last year though, and I didn't know that's what it was, and sat on it for a day before going in for emergency surgery with a massive infection and paralyzed bowels, but that's another CSB altogether.

that was my q. not since their short-lived time in germany have i seen a non-24/7 store...even the neighborhood markets are 24/7. new one near my house is void of a tire & lube express, but is open 24/7.

AverageAmericanGuy: I really don't see why you couldn't do this during normal business hours. Who the fark is going to stop you?

and this, also
in most wm stores (the new one near me being an exception...maybe just because they are new and overstaffed) it's nearly impossible to get help, and if you get "help" they're usually clueless

/former wm employee
//back then many of us employees actually did have a clue, and we were readily available to help

As for non 24/7 Wal*Marts, the one in Wabash, Indiana was only open from 8a-11p until I think around 2007 or so when they upgraded to the super Wal*Mart with a full grocery store/garden supply etc. So I can personally guarantee that Wal*Marts that weren't 27/7 totally existed in America until at least around 2007.
