Holy crap, it's like C-Span wrapped in an Ambien.

The Japanese take on this if farkin' awesome. They make children's arcade games that use CCG cards to power up and battles are done with Rock, Paper, and Scissor buttons. There's boys' and girls' versions. Not a bad way to spend 20 minutes if you're 10.

The only winning move is not to play.

Computer-computer RPS is boring, because unlike humans, computers don't suck nearly so much when it comes to generating random numbers. They're not perfect (unless they can measure an external entropy source, but humans can do that too), but humans are outright terrible at being random, which is what makes the game interesting in the first place.

I find that hard to believe, because it sounds like the most boring thing in the history of the universe.

Heh! That's pretty cool but... Rock knocks out Spider-Man? That does not make sense!

...unless we're talking about Spider-Man from the old cartoon... he was pretty inept.

They never specify the size of the rock, remember.
