Ok the music sucked, and all i could think about was hitting the cosplay girls and the japanese girl wearing the kimono. You know..i like it when you shag them, and they make that squeaky sound like a doggies squeaky toy with every thrust.

2013-11-01 06:22:32 PM

Not bad as an avant garde "art" piece, but is not "dance music".

Dubstep does all kinds of things nowadays.  Once you get past the really bad brostep stuff, it's a pretty fun subgenre of music.

Wouldn't this have just been called drum 'n bass back in the day?

This is just WubWub.

Dub Step is a creative way to add  intuitively to another song.  You break the primary song into sections that work like sentences then add on the "dubbed step" to the end of each sentence.   Thus you are "dubbing in another dance step" into each statement by the music.

So if a song is "one two three, one two three, one two three, one two three" you are using an additional source to make it "one two three four, one two three four, one two three four, one two three four" or some variant within;  3, 4, 3, 4 or what-not.

Adding drum and bass solos into a song isn't dub-step, its WubWub which isn't designed to add to the original song, it is intended to be contrary and contrast to the original song.
WubWub is like putting a repeating trumpet solo into Run To The Hills,  it is an addition of noise just to add noise and is not an art form.

The dub-step almost always uses same genre music for a compatible dialog with the original song.  It is based off the concept of DIALOG between songs.
Imagine someone playing the first musician part of dueling banjos then being followed by Eddie V.H. responding with two licks that reply.

Dub step is little cream cheese stuffed jalipino peppers in a cobb fruit salad.  Like but different, casts an opinion on the other.
WubWub is getting run over by a big rig while jogging up a hiking trail.  It exists ONLY for violent contrast.

It is astounding how stupid most of you children are that you cannot stop for a moment and learn the language of music.  There's a whole generation in the world that is going to have NO positive impact.

It would probably help people's ability to learn if they weren't delivered the information by a condescending dick.
