I just did a couple quick calculations on my home supercomputer, and determined that they also took craps that are roughly the size of a John Deere skip loader.

Hey! it is better than using it to play minesweeper..

/almost was going to say the other game that starts with mine.

Would have been cool if ONE of the articles about this had included a video of said walk.........

Obviously, the next logical step is to feed this data into the computers that animated the orcs for the battle of Helm's Deep in the LOTR movies. I want to know how many orcs an Argentinosaurus can take down.

White Castle fries only come in one size.

Preferably with 'Walk the Dinosaur' playing over it.

I think the standard joke is 'still unable to get above 20 fps in Crysis'.

I bet the real one bent its neck when it walked though...

FTA: The animal was able to reach a top speed of about 5 mph, with "a slow, steady gait,"

Um, a 5 mph walk is pretty swift for a human. Granted it's legs are covering more ground, but that is not too slow in my book.

I used my computer to determine good all dinosaurs had to wear orthopedic shoes.

But have they clocked a t-rex yet?

This is why the dung beetle is the most important creature in Earth's entire history.

Dunno, it's getting pretty long in the tooth.  I think even the new iPad could play Crysis faster than 20fps.  We need something newer, fresher with a bit of zing in it.  Still can't login to SimCity perhaps?

Pfft that's nothing. Me and some other scientists figured out WAY back in 3055 how fast an 80 ton Salamander goes.
Top that!
/64.8 kph top speed

Actually Crysis 1 still sports some of the best texture mapping seen in a video game, even compared to BF4 or far cry3. The game was an unoptimized peice of garbage and that's why nobody could run it. Your Ipad 3,4 etc could definietly not run it above 10 fps.

Yes I know I must be fun at parties.

With an SGI supercomputer, I am pretty sure there's more than one 80-ton Dinosaur in the mix here.
