stupd AND a liar

2013-11-01 06:30:17 AM
Such mooching. Such entitlement. Such taking from a producer by a non-producer. This is the kind of thing an objective author could write a book about.

2013-11-01 06:42:52 AM
YOU DIDN'T WRITE THAT!

Copy pasta staffer, etc.

The Germans know how to make this into a scandal.

Really makes me wonder how he got that medical degree in the first place, as well as why he couldn't get certification from anywhere but the Ron Paul Memorial My Son Is Super-Awesome-Sweet Radical Board of Freedom Certifications and Parking Validation.

T-Servo: Copy pasta staffer, etc.

Yep. Some 20-something wrote the speeches for RAND PAUL the same way he did all his college essays: By lifting chunks of Wikipedia.

2013-11-01 07:56:18 AM
Maybe we have reached the million-monkey event horizon, and every combination of words has been said by some asshole, and now we know because it's on the Internets.

In before the b...b...b... but Biden.

Plagiarist, eh?  Maybe in 20 years he can be someone's vice president.

2013-11-01 07:58:47 AM
Just barely.

2013-11-01 08:00:45 AM
Well, hes says a lot of stupid stuff. After a while, he can't think of any more stupid stuff to say, so he's gotta plagiarize stupid stuff someone else said, or he'll say something even more stupid.

Damn.

Borrowed Language? What the heck is that?

This is just stupid and lazy. I work with a lady who does this all of the time. She lifts entire new articles. It would be easy enough to cite a source, but she doesn't do it. Why? because she doesn't know what she is doing and hasn't had an original thought in years.

Muta: In before the b...b...b... but Biden.

Biden 'fessed up when confronted rather than try and discredit the sources as being just anti-him.  Biden's plagarism also occurred during a political cycle when Gary Hart got nailed and before the wide adoption of the internet which made phrases easily searchable, so much so that even a low-end news should could easily find it.

Rand also pulled this when he's eyeing the Presidential spot in 2016 and refused to distance himself from the neo-secessionist aide who played in a White Power band and had a bit going named "The Southern Avenger."

It's lazy, sloppy and arrogant.

No, its just been on my mind as of late from the GOP's Black Outreach Program honoring the memory of Jesse Helms in North Carolina last week.

As much as I dislike Rand, I really can't get worked up about this.   I'm much more concerned about the ideas he promotes than whether his words are original or not.

Worked up? No, it's hard to get angry when a jerkass turns out to be a thieving jerkass. Doesn't mean there shouldn't be repricussions. If he can't write his own freaking description for Gatica or Stabd By Me then he should have the judgement not to use them in speeches.

"You know, the person who is leading this attack, she's been spreading hate on me for about three years now and I don't intend for it to go away, but I also don't see her as an objective news source."

objective=/unbiased.

Also, nobody is accusing you of plagiarizing the movie or the screenwriters, just wikipedia in this case, you moronic twit.

Anyone remember how troll-free the politics tab was during the government shutdown?
The troll count was very noticeably down. There were actual discussions and everything.

That was weird. Unexpected even...still not sure what that was about.

I like how Rand Paul, the whitest person in the U.S. Senate (which is an accomplishment) referred to Maddow and others as "haters".
I couldn't give a fark about this story if I tried, but Paul's "response" was almost as laughably sad as Maddow's attempt to make this into a Big News Story.

it would seem to imply that a lot of our trolls (who knows could be 1 or 2 guys) are paid through the government in some way.
...But I actually doubt that, thus the "huh? that's weird" reaction.

I tend to assume the troll alt make-up is more like 50% Farker's having a laugh, 20% true believers, 20% GOP staffers, and 20% Fox News Info-graphics dept.

97% of Americans are coming out the same or better for no more money, and 3% are going to have to find a plan that isn't actually a scam.

But you go ahead and hold onto that outrage over a good outcome, and try real hard to think of the last time the GOP achieved anything at a 97% success rate that wasn't a filibuster.
