Dow Jones and the Temple of Doom: Dude had like 2 good songs.

There is one in every thread. And you are *that* one.  Sucks to be you.

I'm still not sure if this actually happened, but here's my (possible) CSB...

It was early in the afternoon at Lollapalooza 2010. A hot and sunny day, and I was sneaking through the bushes in an area I wasn't supposed to be in, trying to avoid heavy foot-traffic. Coming toward me, also sneaking through the bushes, was an older couple in loose-fitting clothes. She was carrying a parasol.

I was two steps past them when it occurred to me... that was Lou and Laurie! No, it couldn't be. He had played a sub-headliner set the year before, but was not on the bill this particular year. But still, that was them. I'm 90% sure. So I turned to say something like, hey, you're Lou Reed, or something even dumber. And I said no, just let the moment pass.

To this day, I wish that I'd had something interesting to say in that moment. (Or this one, for that matter.)

It's very nice, but can someone actually call themselves a  "loving wife"?

I remember a Laurie Anderson song or two from the 80's, had no idea she was even acquainted with Lou Reed.

That was lovely. Simple, touching and from the heart.
Goodbye, Lou.
Thanks.
