Leah Remini would've been a better casting choice.

Point. But, Ellie Kemper is cute!

That's actually not a bad premise as far as sitcoms go.

2013-10-31 10:44:12 PM
I'll definitely watch it.

On Netflix.

After it gets cancelled after a few seasons.

And I know I'm gonna love it.

And I bet she has trouble finding a man too!

Katie Holmes cameo?

Leah could play her sister, or such

Tina Fey's first foray into comedy should prove to be interesting.

Good take on the premise.

Is this a documentary about Meghan Phelps?

Good God, Lemon, that was the original concept for Friends! It had to be retooled because Matt LeBlanc is a method actor, and was caught on set one day with cyanide and 128 ounces of Kool-Aid.

It sounded more like a drama storyline to me than a sitcom.

I'm in.  Solid premise, and I tend to enjoy pretty much everything Fey is involved with.

Note how NBC didn't even ask for a pilot before ordering a season. They know full well that Tina's one of the few bankable properties they've got. Just give her a studio and turn her loose.

Maybe the next sitcom can be how an actress escapes NBC and does a real show.

She'll do anything to get you to watch her show.
Anything?
Anything.

Shouldn't Fark filter that to read "coolt"?

I admit to being curious, because I'm just not sure how you can make something funny out of people getting out of doomsay cults. I mean, people still in doomsday cults, sure; those are freaking comedy gold. But people getting out of them? How do you make a joke out of that?

Classic "fish back in water" premise.

They all are. Lets do this show on HBO and start with before she enters the cult then spend a few seasons with her in the cult before we get to the after she gets out.

A woman tries to make a life for herself in New York City.

IT'S HISTORIC GROUNDBREAKING TELEVISION.

Maybe next she Tina Fey can do a show about twenty-somethings in New York City looking for love. Goddamn, she is a genius.

What's funny is you sound exactly like Liz Lemon when she gets angry.

Remember yesterday, when the internet has its panties (by "Hissy-fit") in a twist because everyone thought it was a sitcom about "abducted women?"  Sometimes you have to read the whole article, farkers.

Yes, she can bring them a show that no one will watch that gets terrible ratings.  Great plan.
