Ted Cruz' father is now polling at 43% among Iowa republicans and is widely considered a frontrunner for the 2016 GOP nomination

I'm sure he just meant that since Obama hasn't been there since he was a Senator, that it's long past time he paid them a visit.

Wasn't he an illegal immigrant from Cuba?

Is this the same father that said his son was "an anointed king" the other day? Yeah, he's not a few sandwiches short of a picnic or anything. Perfectly normal and stable!

Eddie Adams from Torrance: I'm sure he just meant that since Obama hasn't been there since he was a Senator, that it's long past time he paid them a visit.

Didn't he go sometime during his first term? I swear I remember hearing about the hoopla going on over there.

So to recap:

He's a Cuban communist revolutionary who married an American woman in Canada so he could sneak in and have an anchor baby that he would groom to rise in US politics.

AND THE F*CKING TEA PARTY CAN'T SEEM TO SPIT HIS COCK OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS?

Except they even failed the anchor baby part, since Rafael Eduardo Cruz was born in Calgary.

Maybe I've been unfair to the Tea Party. Maybe they're really not historically ignorant, xenophobic racists.

Maybe they're just rat-f*cking stupid.

Somehow this makes him an expert on everything, including the life of Jesus. I can't understand why he left Cuba, to go to Canada and somehow end up living here telling us how bad it is. Appears to me, he wasn't happy anywhere else before. Ted should have his father's lead levels checked, along with mercury.

I think it's great that churches get to enjoy tax-free status AND get involved in politics. It's almost as if they know that nobody will dare call them out on it because nobody wants to be painted as anti-christian.

I submitted this with the simple headline "Rafael Cruz doesn't like foreigners". I'm torn if subby beat me, this is a pretty good one, too.

Its funny, he's exactly what they imagine Obama to be.

Wait, not funny, sad.

If God himself came down and said "You're farking wrong" these people wouldn't believe it.

Anytime someone brings up Kenya they should be giving a sign to wear around there neck at all times that says "Idiot."  They isn't any reason we should still be listening to them.

From Freeperville:

In April, Rafael Cruz, the father of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), spoke to the tea party of Hood County, which is southwest of Fort Worth, and made a bold declaration: The United States is a "Christian nation."
Here's the essence of our problem with the left. They actually think that this thought is controversial...even scandalous.

It isn't controversial or scandalous.  It is simply wrong.

2013-10-31 12:06:19 PM
Ted Cruz seems like the kind of guy that is going to go "full psycho" when his political career tanks (and it's about to). I expect some kind of murder-suicide action when he doesn't become President.

Talking facts and presenting evidence is just spitting into the wind... it causes despair for our country.

The man who claims he had no idea that Fidel Castro had communist leanings has cracked Obama's secret past using his sharp investigative powers and keen sense of observation.

Nah. He'll end up comfortably ensconced at some "think-tank", lobbying firm, or law firm.

The name in his Canadian birth certificate reads "RAFAEL EDWARD CRUZ". First name: "Rafael", after his Cuban dad. Want a nickname? Use Rafa or something similar as any proud latino would do.

Wow, he hit the racist, sexist, and homophobic trifecta and nailed the religious intolerance and contempt for the poor bonus rounds.  No wonder the GOP loves him.

Can you imagine the uproar if this were Obama's past?

In July, several prominent Dominionist pastors at a ceremony in Iowa blessed and anointed Ted Cruz, rendering him, in their view, a "king" who would help usher in the kingdom of Christ.

exick

Yeah, he's not a few sandwiches short of a picnic...

In his defence, he's Cuban, and they really do make some awesome sandwiches. If a medianoche or a mixto goes missing on the way to the picnic, who can blame the man? They're delicious.

I can't imagine being so upset about something for so long. The man was sworn in five years ago, and still, these people seethe with rage. I just don't get it.

He blasted McCain for refusing to slam Obama regarding the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

There you have it, boyos. Pastor Cruz himself says that he's fair game for attack ads against his son.

Well....that's disturbing.

That family (from the Dominionist evangelical father, to the Goldman Sachs golden girl wife, to the sociopath himself) is the closest I've ever seen to a perfect storm of derp.

Hey, remember when telling a black man to go back to Africa, was considered really, really racist?  Gosh, 2007 seems so long ago.

I agree that anybody not born inside US borders should hold federal office.

Just out of curiosity, how long was Cruz's mother  in Canada before Ted was born?  Is that verified?  Canceled checks?  Passport stamps?  Newspaper citations?
