MrHappyRotter: Wait a second. Is this one of those anti-funny Fark things where people pretend something perfectly benign is actually bizarre and scandalous? If not, then maybe someone would care to enlighten me. If you're not supposed to clean the kitchen with your underwear, then what are you supposed to clean it with? Well? I'm waiting.
Dragonflew: The only thing that is NOT sick about the article is the underpants. They're obviously clean and new, as they still have the price tags on them. Everything else was disgusting.
Kit Fister: I use my old underpants as rags, after a decent bleaching. What is the problem exactly?/shortfall/dnwtrtfa, e.
Lsherm: Look, for anyone who grew up pre-1980 this is a common practice. Back in the day, underpants were made out of sturdy farking cotton fiber and when they got old, you used them as rags for the jobs when you couldn't re-use a regular towel. Staining wood, removing mildew, smearing grease on a ball joint - anything of that nature was done with used tighty whiteys. You washed them good and then they were rags. You'd think with the big push for recycling people wouldn't have a problem with this.
jtown: My grandma used to use old cloth diapers as dust rags so I'm really getting a kick out of this story. They'd last been used as diapers nearly 20 years before I was born but it still seemed nasty. All those years later, the depression era influence was still keeping her from spending $0.99 for a new bundle of dust rags.

Canton: Ahh, Bristol. Home of the infamous stool scale. That's fitting. Hopefully not too many people are experiencing sixes and sevens over there due to this...
HisBoyLeroy: So, I'm a little confused. Can I still use restaurants to clean my underwear, or what?
