(The Indy Channel)   If you somehow manage to pass seven counterfeit $100 bills in a strip club and escape before they realize it, you might want to reconsider immediately driving to another strip club and trying the same thing   (theindychannel.com) divider line 29

You can get a counterfeit detection pen for $3 at Officemax.  Why wouldn't a strip club that sees lots of big bills make a minor investment to stop this from happening?

Where would a stripper keep the pen?

Why doesn't any counterfeit one dollar bills... then take one fake and four real and ask the clerk at the corner store to change it out for a five dollar bill.
Yeah the profits would be slow going, but this every day a few times a day and bam! $1,000 a year for doing nothing but asking for change when at the store.

Doesn't asking for change technically mean converting a large denomination into smaller units?

figure an average of 10 minutes in the store to make the exchange per 5 dollars....200 times to get to 1000,00....so 2000 minutes,,,around 30 bucks an hour profit, not counting gas used to get to store and if the store makes you buy something before they will make change

When I go to strip clubs, I don't make it rain... I make it drizzle.
She gets two or three dollars an hour while I enjoy my beer and think about what I'm going to do to her daughter.

Not to mention that the supplies to actually make the counterfeit $1 would be a good chunk of $1.  My laser printer with black toner on cheap paper is about 8 cents a page single sided.  If you're printing double sided with color toner on rag paper that's going to be a lot more than 8 cents per sheet.

Probably because making counterfeit money costs more than $1 per bill.

We picked up some kids at Disneyland passing fake $1s one time. It was pretty funny; what was funnier still was handing them over to the Secret Service, who take counterfeit money of any denomination very seriously.

Also, I'm betting the penalties for counterfeiting are the same whether you make $1s or $100s, so if you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly.

I printed a couple of those One Million Dollar bills after finding the jpegs on the net, they didn't go over well.
Then I took a roll of Sacagawea dollar coins and tried to put them in the slot but that didn't fly either.
Oh well, just have to stick with the singles.

Hey I know a stripper who is really going to college... second degree. We go way back. Well to before she was a stripper. Turns out some liberal arts BA's convert to well paying jobs. But having a nice rack does.

As for this you can fake the pens out easily. Some of the new stuff on the 100's not so much.

Not all fake bills are on fake paper.  Lots of people take low denominations, bleach them, and reprint them as higher denominations.  Doesn't fool a UV lamp though.

The vending machines in my school cafeteria were easily fooled by xerox copies of $1 bills, but it's not like it took a genius in the principal's office to set up a video camera after the first batch of fake bills came out of the machine.
I think they just gave those kids detention though.

Most everything in a strip club is fake. If the top shelf bottles are full of Paramount and the dancers are full of botox, silicone and BS why would someone want to spend real money anyway?

Yes - 4 times the work for 1/20th the profit with 4 times the chance of being caught and spending 100% of the same amount of time in jail. Makes sense to me.
