There isn't going to be a series clinching game today.

No partying in the streets, because the President is in town.  Yeah that will go over well.  The President's handlers should know better than to schedule something that interferes with a major sporting event.

If I were the Presdent, I'd go to every WS game because I farking could, and the  butthurt from the opposition would be epic.

We haven't had historical out of control crowds SINCE Victoria Snelgrove's death, and that wasn't an out of control crowd, that was an out of control COP.

In the last 10 years, the Celtics, Bruins, Pats and Sox have all won championships and we haven't had a riot. We had a BOMB go off in a crowd, and we didn't have a riot. Every year, a hundred thousand people stand around and watch fireworks, and we don't have a riot.

Are there some fistfights, smashed windows and public drunkness? Yes. But we don't get all Vancouver up in here, so these security measures are bullshiat.

As a White Sox fan, I will say that we cheer for the Cards on occasion, because they are a major Cubs rival, so you have the whole "enemy of my enemy" thing. That said, that's only during the regular season, and I doubt any Sox fan gives a shiat about the current series, other than as baseball fans in general. No love for either the other Sox or the Cards.
