Pretty sure Google has a commercial like this, but it's implied that the guy gets laid at the end.

I like that version better.

It's rare that I wish a video was longer. Would love to hear more about the kid, why he was leaving, and how everyone responded in the end.

Along those lines, classic BBC Tourettes doco "John's Not Mad" is now available for your online streaming pleasure!

Obviously there's some swearing involved. Unfortunately the page with a wonderful scene by scene description and swearing breakdown is gone but thanks to the wonder of archive.org it's still available for your viewing pleasure.

FAKE! I can tell by the bad actors and crappy camera panning.

/I keed.

Carly Simon did the same thing as a kid; terrible stutterer, someone told her to try singing it out instead. Thank god for me; I really like her music!

Seriously. Everyone is beginning to weep and the emotion starts kicking in, and the video suddenly ends.

It always shocks me to see teenaged boys being nice.  My memories from high school are most of them were jerks.

I asked my two high school sons about the kids' behavior these days and they thought I was weird.  They said there's none of that anymore, that everyone was either pretty cool, or kept to themselves and their group of friends.

As a side note, my one son who's been friendly, and becoming better friends with, one kid just found out the guy is the varsity quarterback.  The way they describe it, everyone is mostly blase about the stereotypical sporto-reverence.  Plus, the son is a little airheaded--he just thought the guy wore a jersey on game days because he was some random player--not the high-profile quarterback.
