if_i_really_have_to: browneye: Benedict Cumberbatch and Matt Smith have the same physical quirk in that they can look handsome and/or sexy in one scene, then wierd even ugly in the next scene.  Sometimes it happens in moments within the same scene, which is one of the reasons I find them so appealing.

It's called "jolie laide".

Jolie Laid

? I think I saw that headline on a tabloid at the supermarket the last time I was in the store.

But I don't believe a word of it. Angelina Jolie has never been laid. All her kids are of different colours, races, nationalities, etc. She's the United Benetton of Virgin Mothers.

I am impressed by the man's versatility as an actor.

Sadly, none of those movies were about a father and son duo of supervillians starring him and Alan Rickman in the titular roles.

For those of you who want to see (well, hear) a very different style of Cumberbatch, try listening to BBC Radio's sitcom "Cabin Pressure", in which he plays a lead role.

It is absolutely hilarious.
