Nope, still looking....

2013-10-29 01:34:59 PM
Let me see if I can predict how the thread will go...

Several of the early comments will provide a rundown of his stupidest moments, including "is our children learning," "misunderestimate," "fool me twice, can't get fooled again," "food on their families," and the pictures of him trying to open the door and of him molesting Angela Merkel.
Someone will mock his ranch and record vacation times.
Someone will lament Obama not prosecuting Bush and Cheney for war crimes.
Someone will say it's wrong to focus your hatred on Bush when clearly the worst things were Cheney's ideas.
Someone will mock the other posters in the thread for still being angry at the guy after half a decade.
Someone (possibly the same someone that brought up the previous item) will argue that there's no real difference between Bush and Obama, with or without posting the photoshop where their faces are merged.
If they post the photoshop, someone will respond with the "Miss Me Yet" with Osama saying "Yes" added to the bottom, or else with the "I farked you all, but thanks for blaming the black guy" macro.
A back and forth will start between the regular posters and one or two who are either Fark Independents or cynical assholes and BSAB until the thread is closed.
If things get particularly nasty, the picture of Bush with the monkey faces and Obama as various dictators will pop up.

Obama asked is our children learning the 57 states despite being the same as Bush like when he clears brush and takes really long vacation time at Crawford's Vineyard where he gropes Angel Merkel while Joe Cheney shoots Osama bin Laden in the face thinking he was really an ear of corn that was actually a banana but says "Miss Me Yet" despite the fact bananas can't shoot him but can't get fooled again when you misunderestimate that Bush is reading a book upside down like Fark posters who can't get over the fact that the black guy blamed Bush despite restoring our freedoms we put on our families which is a war crime in the Hague.

I didn't realize you were the gatekeeper here. Anyway, thanks for the fond memories of opposing the Iraq War as I hadn't heard this idiotic bromide since then.  Way to set yourself apart from the political opposition and disprove my point, jackass.

Maud Dib: Ralph Nader and his fanbois can take a flying fark.

That crooked sonofabiatch is the person who gave us this moron in the first place.

First off, how dare anyone not support the corporate sponsored teams!!  Everyone knows that democracy means that you should only vote for a Democrat or Republican. Also, how is instant runoff voting coming?  You'd think after having Gore's election spoiled by Nader, Democrats would be all-in on trying to enhance democracy by eliminating the spoiler effect, yet still nothing has been done on this in any statewide, Democratically controlled jurisdiction almost 14 years later. Curious.  It's almost like they think your vote belongs to them and don't want to consider a system that would increase competition without fear of spoiling a corporate coronation.

Second, you are wrong. The opening for the Supreme Court to decide the election was provided by Al Gore and David Boies when they decided to force a recount process in only their cherry-picked counties.  Had they gone for a full state recount from the beginning, as basic fairness would demand for a six million vote election decided by 600 votes, the Supreme Court could not have found the due process issue that they used to stop the recount, and the Republicans would not have been able to use the courts to run out the clock.  Instead of holding the Democrats accountable, you choose to denigrate someone who has done more to protect the health, safety and well-being of the average American than the next three Democrats you can think of.  Someone, as a fan of my profile already knows, called out the socialization of risk, i.e. too big to fail, 10 years before the financial meltdown.  So please, lecture me more about fanbois while you think a DLC Democrat eminently more qualified for the presidency over the one person in that election trying to discuss the corporate control of the political economy.

qorkfiend: Discard criticism from people who were conspicuous by their silence on these policies during the Bush Administration, despite warnings of precisely this situation arising, because their criticism is obviously motivated by partisanship

? You betcha.

Congratulations, you saw it coming.  Now, what are you going to do about it?  Vote Democrat! Yeah, that'll learn 'em.  And by the way, you're discarding criticisms from everyone by lumping them into one group so you can dismiss them en masse, not because you can divine their motivations via TCP/IP. That's some weapons grade rationalization you got there.
