They slingshot a live sea bass at passing doves.
There's rope around the bass's tail.
If your aim and timing is true, the bass clamps down on the bird and you haul those suckers in.
Catch enough doves, you can serve up both fish & fowl for a "Surf & Santiago" dinner.
