He's got a point you know, that's exactly how a drone works.

Wait, you people didn't know? The camera uses a very high tech algorithm to determine if you are indeed committing a crime, and will only record at that point. For example, if your sister is  nude sunbathing in the back yard, the camera will shut off before it's recorded 1/10th of a second. Put a joint in her hand though, and the drone can detect it and start taping... They are also very smart drones. If the girl in this scenario was drinking, but her birthday wasn't until tomorrow, the drone would recognize that and record it.
