Um, it looks like the littler guy was the fella who got dropped. Not that he wasn't asking for it.

Then again, I guess there's a piece of me that wonders what in the Hells happened to his shirt....

You know, the kick to the ribs while the "bully" is down doesn't make the 'Little guy' seem any less the bully.  Seems like both of them are assholes.

We'd show it to you at 6, but one guy takes off his shirt and we can't expose children to partial nudity

Wasn't this on Tosh.O like a few years ago?

I watched it with the sound turned off. The posturing and head bobbing by the shirtless guy is hilarious.

I've definitely seen it before, and given that the linked video has only 50-some views and a bad edit right before the swinging starts, it is clear that this is a bad copy of the original.

The winner of the fight gave the shirtless wonder from 5th and Washington every chance to calm down before whipping his ass.

It is old. I've seen it before but I don't remember where. I know it wasn't on Tosh.O though cause that guy makes me want to punch someone.

Why do idiots always take their shirt off before picking a fight?  Personally, I'd take my pant off, because who wants to fight a guy with no pants on?

yes.  Because when people from New Jersey want to see the Jersey shore, we watch some idiots orange from Staten Island get drunk and fark each other instead of, you know, going to the Jersey shore.

If kids were encouraged to confront their bullies, I guarantee bullying-related suicide rates would drop.  Nothing cements the helplessness that leads to suicide like the idea that you will be punished for defending yourself from repeated abuse.

Wow, you hit the nail on the head. I was bullied pretty fiercely in grade school and my folks were of little help. The few times I was able to "fight back" I'd either get in trouble with the school or with my folks. And when you're that young and you feel you have no where to turn, man, that's some pretty heavy stuff to deal with especially at that age.

THIS. I preach this gospel in my tony Chicagoland north shore suburb. Most parents, teachers and school admin types look at me like I'm a psycopath. Granted, I grew up in a much more violent place than John Hughes-Ville, IL, but human nature doesn't suddenly flip on its head because people have clean streets and disposable income.

Short version: I was bullied, mom said to be nice and they'll come around, brother said act psycho and threaten them individually--not in a group, I did, they all backed down, one tried for years to be my friend.

I taught my kids how to fight when they were young, let them know to never throw the first punch, but make sure they throw 2-10 until the bully begs for mercy, and if they got in trouble at school I would take a day off work and go to the museum or wherever they wanted to go.  The oldest fought back once, never got in trouble, and neither had bully problems again.

Yes, Zero Tolerance is clearly an effective policy (of removing all responsibility for critical thinking from school faculty).

I can't help but chuckle a little when abusive blowhards get their comeuppance.  Sadly, it happens so rarely these days.

Usually, they get promoted.

That is how street fights are won.  My father taught me that and that most bullies subscribe to the flashy movie idea of fighting.  Something along the lines of, "Knowing how to jab will take care of most of your bullies.  Knowing that there are no rules in a street fight with a bully will take care of the rest of them."

Depending on the nature/history of the bullying, I'm not opposed to my kid taking the first shot on a bully if it sent the right message. Draw a line in the sand.

I have a brother that's two years older than me and we hung out with, what we called back then "The burn-outs". So I fortunatly never had a problem as everyone older and in my class already knew who I was and that it would be a bad idea.

My brothers were too far older than me to be of any use reputationally, physically, or even as coaches.  They were all out of the house by the time I hit third grade.

So, badly shot footage of street fights passes for fark's video standards?  Last week there was almost a snuff film greenlit too, is drew's kid still running this tab?  I'm sure the sponsors are thrilled.

Yeah I have a younger sister too. 20 years younger. She had a little trouble but there wasn't much we could do. I assume the court would frown upon a 30-something y/o man pounding a teen-age girl to a pulp. wasn't too bad though. The other benefit of the older brother was learning how to fight people that were bigger and stronger than you since we had our share of dust-ups. He broke his hand punching me one time. I called that a win for me. :D

Haha, the burnouts.  Didn't really understand who/what they were in K-5, just that they were high schoolers who drove a scary shiatty car and came out at night and did illegal shiat in the school parking lot.  Stay away or they would kill you.

Why do pasty guys built like the Pillsbury Doughboy insist on taking off their shirts if a fight is imminent. This isn't hockey. You guys aren't really going to grapple long enough to get your shirt pulled over your head.

The smart money is on a crushing right cross to the mouth while the asshole is taking his shirt off.

If you're more spry, a straight front kick to the kneecap while the asshole is taking his shirt off is safer and more effective.

Don't be this guy, though.  Once you drop somebody to the concrete, your only job now is to briskly walk away and not stop until you're out of the vicinity.

That's why it is just better to avoid the fight in the first place.  Once you let go of inhibition, it can be seriously hard to take hold once again.
