Towards the end Washington just played carelessly. But I can't understand why RG3 was trying to throw long passes on every down when the game was actually still close and there was a little less than a full quarter of game time left to play. He kept looking downfield and then making throws that didn't work.

I saw two of the INTs: the one where Thomas tripped on a quick slant route and the ill-advised seam pass to Welker. First one isn't really on Peyton. Ball had to be out of his hand before Thomas tripped. The 2nd one was just a really bad decision to throw into double coverage, though I've seen him make that throw to Welker before.

What happened on the third?

You haven't been watching the sputtering POS offense we have been wheeling out on a weekly basis then. While not overall, the two weeks that Brian Hoyer was commanding the Browns, they easily looked like the second-best team in the division. Hell, with Weeden at QB, we only won by 8 points...

Keep in mind, I love my Ravens, but god damn, it's been painful to watch how bad this offense is performing at times.

Broncos scored on their first drive within 5 min of kickoff, then not again until 7 left in the 3rd quarter? Yes, the Skins fell apart and allowed 38 straight, but going that long in regulation against a bad team without scoring is alarming. Chalk this one up into the "time to get our shiat together if we want to make it past the wildcard round."

Where the #*&! was this John Fox last year in our BAL playoff loss? I will never understand why he opted for overtime instead of letting Peyton throw it down field 3 or 4 times. We had 31 seconds and 2 timeouts from our 20 yard line. Why sign PFM and pay him all that money to let him kneel the ball????

I didn't understand that either. Denver got the game tied and the next series they went 3 and out on 3 bombs down field like they were behind by 20+. It's not like Shnnahan to be that undisciplined. There was plenty of time on the clock and they last thing the Redskins needed to do was let Manning back on the field. A clock eating drive that ended in a FG would have been a huge win for Washington at the time, but it seemed like they panicked. Del Rio correctly saw what was happening and put the heat on RGIII with the expected results.

In all honesty, they don't look a whole lot worse than they have at times over the past 5 years. It's just that we've always had a bright spot or two to get them through the ugliness, and right now it's just misery all over the field.

I will never understand that either. It was almost as dumb as the decision Jim Mora made against the Dolphins in 99.

I think Ray Rice is done. They average life span of a RB is 3 years and I think Ray is there.  I am not in the MD area so don't get to see every game, but the few I have watched have been painful.  I know Raven's don't always win pretty and they usually find a way to win.  I am just not seeing that same resolve this year.  And where the hell is Suggs? I was hoping he would be more impactful this year.

On the path to set his career high in sacks and tackles.

I completely agree with you. Having actually gotten to see every game, he doesn't look much better in the broad view either. The thing is, the resolve issue is completely on the offense. There seems to be nothing in them pushing to reach higher or further, and you can see it in our O-line that just looks miserable...

Our D, though, has been great, all things considered. Suggs has had a sack in almost every game, and has been a general terror in the backfield for most teams with Dumervil. Mostly it's been our secondary that's played poorly, but they've also been out there an excessive amount this year due to too many stalled drives.

*Sigh* The thing is, I don't mind ugly wins. But I'm losing faith that our offense has the drive to fight for those ugly wins this year compared to last.

Huh? Suggs has 8 sacks and 53 combined tackles.

As for the Redskins, what happened to RGKnee's designed runs?
If they wanted a drop back QB, they should have picked someone else in the draft

Well...technically 3 years. 2010-2011 season. It was the last year that Singletary coached the 49ers, the Rams were still the post-Warner Rams, and the Cards were still the post-Warner Cards. In other words, it was a fantastic shiat show.

I appreciate the Redskins basically folding up and dying to give the Broncos another big win, but Jesus, if we don't cut down on the turnovers a strong defensive team like Kansas City is going to kill us.
