It's a good thing that during the remaining three years hundreds of thousands of Cruz votes will die across America thanks to Obamacare's Death Panels.

WTF Indeed: It's a good thing that during the remaining three years hundreds of thousands of Cruz votes will die across America thanks to Obamacare's Death Panels.

We must be vigilant though, comrade!  There will still be hundreds of thousands more to round up and imprison in the FEMA camps!

huh.  so basically Cruz is trying his best to become the real life version of Buzz Windrip, from a Sinclair Lewis novel.  I don't know if I should applaud Cruz's faithfulness to his portrayal or be terrified that he might actually succeed in getting elected president.

But he's white, and he's conservative!  plus he doesn't have one of those weird foreign accents.  laws for Republicans are like ice cream - easily melted when required, then eaten with a spoon and some lightly salted pretzels.

So... where's the problem?  How about addressing the issue at hand, that being Cruz?

No he's saying that because a Democrat got caught doing something bad, it makes what Republicans do okay.

Lorelle: "Impending presidential campaign?" In his dreams. Everyone knows he's a native-born Canuckistani.

'Fraid so. Even though I have no doubt he's an American, he himself cannot meet the standards set by his own party (and the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965) for proof of American citizenship. It's going to come back to haunt him because, in addition to those like me who will gleefully see him hoist on his own petard, a significant percentage of the Tea Party will reluctantly conclude he is not a natural-born American citizen and refuse to support him.

By the time it's challenged in court, the next election will have already been held and he either will have won or lost.  And if he won, it'll be tied up in legal battles for a long, long time.

Still, the point is moot.  Let him run.  I encourage him to run.  IF he somehow won the Republican nomination?  He'd be handing the Presidency to the Democrats on a silver platter.  Hell, Rachel Maddow could win against him.
