The Orlando Sentinel should win some sort of award for achieving maximum stupidity in their comments.

Yeah I got that too, the police are pissed they didn't find a huge hoard of cash to seize.

Thank goodness the police seized 200 lbs. of marijuana.

Maybe they should have let her sell come of that weed before busting her.

Yeah, but then in season 4 she had to go on the lam, put out a hit on a couple of people, and the writing went to hell.

Just think of all those terrible people out there with cancer, aids, and spinal injuries who might have used it to ease their pain.

This proves the age old fact "Looks are deceiving". Though when "drug kingpin" and "grandmother" I think of an elderly woman selling cheap prescriptions out of a Buick.

Isn't it fantastic?!

Sure glad that 100lbs of pot won't end up on the street!

Could be worse, she could be childless and atheist.

Usually the "woman raising her grandchild" is already a red flag.  I've seen plenty of it.  Sometimes people just too stupid or selfish to be parents.  And the apple doesn't fall far.

Just 'cause she's dealin' don't mean she can't be a nice lady, now.

FTA - In an industry historically run by men, Roman is a rare example of a woman suspected of playing a leading role in organized crime.

But now, as gangs move into more-sophisticated criminal activity, there is no reason why women can't take on leadership roles, said Roberto Hugh Potter, interim chair of the University of Central Florida's criminal-justice department.

Way to go grandma, you break that glass ceiling!

I tried watching beyond the pregnancy story arc and couldn't. The writing was far too painful.

So LEO was on her like stink on rice, watching her every move. However, they have no idea where the money went. I can see how that could happen.

I thought it was primarily a WTF!? tag, myself.

And I think I'm getting too jaded... my first thought on seeing the headline was, "Did they discover Granny was a 'drug kingpin' before or after they invaded the wrong house and shot her 7 times?"

I curse any show whose writing and plotting is so painful, not even gratuitous nudity makes it worth watching.

This being one of the stupidest! Potter commenting on a woman's ability to run a criminal organization.

"They probably have the technical and financial skills to do this level of work," Potter said.

That article is devoid of any information to suggest she was a kingpin of anything. What's in the article just makes it look like she's a small time money launderer ($3 million over seven years is chump change in the drug business). Either the cops are holding back information, or they're trying to make her look more important than she is--perhaps to scare her into cooperating against the ones who really were in charge.
