Now... screwing up the event loop to the point that every Tk based application on Maverics is unusable. That's a lynching...

...but we'll probably have it fixed by Monday.

I've been using Macs since I was 6 years old, and I don't think I've ever used the Apple Office stuff. I finally cut the MS cord a few years ago, first OpenOffice, then LibreOffice.

Isn't that kinda normal for Apple?

(I don't think I'm the only one who misses cover flow in iTunes).

Remember what happened with Final Cut Pro a few years ago when they did the same thing?

Don't worry, BullBearMS will be in here shortly to tell us why this is good, why Microsoft sucks and if you don't worship Apple you're a fool.

I personally prefer Pages now - I always felt like it had some good templates to work from and a pretty elegant interface that could get almost as granular as you need. The conversion to a word document feature wasn't 100% accurate all the time, but it was pretty damn good. It worked most of the time to my satisfaction.

This is too bad - I am concerned about them dumbing it down. I'll have to test it.

Man I wished the cover flow was still there. I hate the new version and don't even know why I have it seeing as I've jail broken my phone.

I have that on my linux box and it works ok for home economics but I can't imagine using it for heavy lifting the way I've used Excel at times.

There's Excel, then there's everything else.

AVID and Adobe Premiere got a huge boost in profits?
