Just another snapshot into why little in government works well or cheaply.

George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal's parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract.

This is taking "sins of the father" a bit extreme.

My roommates friend's cousin once bit the mailman, so Sarah Palin is automatically president.

The Daily Caller. Digging down deep, to get to the bottom, to stay on top.

This is way worse than killing hundreds of thousands of people to augment the income of our leaders. Way, way worse. . . .

That squares it. I'm voting Republican next presidential election.

Last I checked, Princeton is a rather large university, and TFA offers no evidence that Michelle Obama has ever even met the woman in question.

Some lady who happened to go to the same school as Michelle Obama 30 years ago is now an executive at CGI, therefore potato.

I went to a state school. They send me a mailing every month. It lists what my classmates have been up to. Joining the service, getting married, dying, etc. In 7 years, I've recognized one name.

Apparently at Ivy Leaguee schools, everyone knows everyone.

Well, the URL says that Michelle Obama's Princeton "classmate" is now an executive in one of the companies that worked on Healthcare.gov.

I'm afraid that's as far as I'm willing to go, but i'd bet my left nut it's a hysterical over hyped bit of BS, typical of the Daily Caller.

Michelle Obama and an SVP of CGI were bother black and in Princeton at the same year. Seriously, that's the only connection. Same year, both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni

So he got the contract, and then he donated to Obama's campaign?

That sounds like smart business sense to me.  What was he supposed to do - support Mitt Romney who wanted to repeal Obamacare and cancel his contract?

The company who worked on the Obamacare website has a senior vice-president who was Michelle Obama's father's brother's cousin's nephew's former college roommate!

What are the chances there is someone that was at Princeton at the same time as Michelle in a dozen different huge tech development firms?

I mean, I'm willing to bet you could find a link to Obama and Harvard, too.

That being said, the website has been a big failure with political delays, organizational issues, and idiotic programming that seems to have been thrown together at the last minute.

Actually no bid contracts are OK in some instances like when it is obvious only one company has the resources to the job required and time is of the essence.

By Democratic party standards evidence is not required for there to be an investigation just a serious allegation is sufficient:

"We have no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, but the seriousness of these allegations, and the weight of circumstantial information, compel an effort to establish the facts," Joint Statement issued by House Speaker Thomas Foley, D-Wash., and Senate Democratic leader George Mitchell of Maine in announcing a probe of th alleged October Surprise by Regan/Bush.-Aug 1991Link

And if they'd disqualified this company because the First Lady knew someone who worked for that company, how long before we'd see a headline screaming about how the Job Creators at this poor company were unfairly disqualified from getting this contract because of an insinuated but never stated animosity between the First Lady and this person she knew from her college days?

I, for one, am shocked that a CEO of a company awarded a contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars to create a website would support the candidate who wanted to launch that website over the candidate who wanted to scrap it.

Also, this:
CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract

Seems incompatible with this:
four companies submitted bids

I'm probably just missing something, but I'm confused by why they submitted a bid for a no-bid contract. It's probably just an example of actual English and government English being in conflict.

So, all I saw was that she graduated the same year as this person, and now they are both members of the Black Princeton Alumni Association.  I go to that associations website, and it didn't even form until a decade after they graduated.  Did I miss something?  Is that the connection?  Is that the cronyism they found?  Because my university granted just over 10,000 degrees the year I graduated, and I'm in a couple alumni association type orgs.  Guess what, I've stayed in touch with like 3 people from college, and none of them even shared my major.

My guess:  Association forms, goes through database of living alumni that fit the bill and would lend credibility to this new association, calls certain people that are very visible and very successful and asks them to join.  Executives, award-winning researchers, critically acclaimed authors, First Ladies......

And the comments in TFA, holy balls man.
