Infernalist: LoneWolf343: Infernalist: Bslim: Infernalist: Mugato: Infernalist: Phil Moskowitz: Orci, that human fecal brick. Why can't he do us all a favour and have a stroke.

Such animosity.  Why?

Because he's a hack who inexplicably is the producer on everything.

I'm curious.  When you see a man who's successful and highly sought after for his talents....and you think he's crap...do you ever stop to think that maybe the vast majority is correct and your perception might be a tad bit wrong?
You mean like how Two and a Half Men is the highest rated TV show makes it the best scripted by the most talented people?

That's not an answer to the question I asked, though.

The point was that you're using a bandwagon argument.

/Don't even know who you guys are talking about
//Just know a bad argument when I see it

I'm just curious why some people seem to feel as if their personal views on a particular artist somehow outweighs reality and the opinions of the vast majority.

Some people seem sincerely perplexed why these people that they see as being 'terrible at their jobs' keep getting prime jobs...when reality is sitting there going 'because the rest of us like what they do?'

It's just really strange that they can't grasp that if the rest of the world disagrees with them on matters of taste, maybe the rest of the world aren't the ones that are wrong.

I'm curious as to why you seem to think that popularity has any relevance to quality. The "vast majority" sometimes makes mistakes. Sometimes they like shiatty stuff. Sometimes they like stuff because it is shiatty. If you think the guy is good, defend him, but don't do it with such a gross, obvious fallacy.

I think that's where it originated in the first place.

So I can get reamed for defending the Star War prequels but if I call out JJ's trio of hack writers for their shiat, I'm a mindless hater. K.

You can be reamed (rightfully so) for your insane anger about Abrams and Orci and the lot.

Fringe was one of the best TV shows of the 21st Century. Orci.

I bet you didn't even watch, cause you'd rather spend a decade pissy instead.

Mugato, you are just a whiny little boy who is still angry, after nearly a decade, that you still don't get the Star Trek movies you wrote in your head when you were 14.

It shows, and it's not very becoming.

Hating a guy you don't even know, because of what? OOOO you hate them so much!

Grow the fark up.

I am a Star Wars and Star Trek fan, and I'm 44 years old and grew up with this shiat.

Mugato is wrong. J.J. Abrams is way better than he will ever be, and he can only whine and dream about being half as talented as his writers.

And it shows in every post you make about this topic, you sad little man.

Fringe, Mugato.

Tell me why Orci sucked with that.

Be specific. It lasted 5 years.

Tell me how Orci and Kurtzman farked that all up.

I'll save you the time Mugato, you never watched Fringe, did you?

Too busy hating those guys to actually realize they do good work, right?

2013-10-27 08:02:45 AM
I'm going to bed, but I expect tomorrow, Mugato, you'll explain in detail why you hate Fringe and Orci and Star Trek to the point where you nearly foam at the mouth at the mention of them.

Into Darkness was a letdown, sure, but you act like he's farking your ass.

2013-10-27 08:09:55 AM
Mugato, you are a like a sad parody of a sci-fi fan in 2013 now. Really, why are you so furious about these people? It's like some of my right-wing Facebook friends with Obama. You are furious, and you still cannot explain exactly why, other than you'd do stuff different. Wow.

You embarrass nerds everywhere for your insane fury abouit J.J. Abrams, who I quite like, and I'm older than you and nerdier than you. YOU GET NOTHING.

2013-10-27 08:11:46 AM
It is nearly Stardate 2014. Mugato is stuck in 2009, we can only hope someone invents a tech to let him escape.

Mugato in 1983: Why is this Spielberg getting all the good gigs? I hate Richard Dryefuss! The book Jaws was way different! I can't believe he can just hire people and make movies!

2013-10-27 08:29:18 AM
And I 100% trust J.J. Abrams over your judgement, Mugato, cause I actually appreciate modern sci fi blockbusters. You surely never will, cause you will whine a lot.

You know, Confabulat, you could try condensing your dozens of posts a bit. You come off as a stalker.

You're a weird, and probably drunk, dude but here's the explanation why Fringe didn't die from its awful 'monster of the week' beginnings. I learned this just a while ago as well. Information courtesy of Raktastic.

So it was J. H. Wyman who saved those idiots from their almost pathological lack of desire to produce a quality product.
